last night i had a dream which included sandor clegane and we were at one of those all you can eat places. we both had got our plates but for some reason he spilled all my food on the floor. to say sorry, he took of his shirt to reveal beautiful abs and danced like magic mike and i was like wow i never knew my subconcious had created that in its deepest recesses of fundamental desires.
Shout-out to all my true Sandor Clegane homies who recognize that he’s more than just a walking badass catchphrase machine, who accept or at the very least acknowledge SanSan, and who don’t celebrate his drunkenness or just want him to come back and kick Gregor’s ass.
I know it’s wrong but this is one of my very favourite Sandor moments. BUT IT’S SCARY AND CREEPY, I hear you shout. Yeah, well, I dig that shit. He’s all raw and harsh and intimidating and ohhhh when he just glides up to her with that cocky little smile - “who do you think sent me?” - seriously I just die a thousand deaths. He delivers it perfectly. He’s just a god, a hot mamma jammin’ god. I just love how intense and overwhelming he is - everything about him is so damn big - his manner, his body… Oh, Sandor! - throws self to the floor in anguish -

The Going Price | Hawke & Hound
"Because he left," Marian began tartly, but her ire was short-lived. Garrett being gone was old news; a tantrum thrown by a little girl with pigtails and no scars on her face yet. She swallowed a mouthful of ale without tasting it. "A long time ago."
The stave strapped firmly to her back felt heavy: a reminder of the promise she’d made to her father, how life only moved forward, and why she was here with this charming mountain of a man. "Our father is dead, House Hawke without a proper heir."
—And all Mother’s blame on my shoulders as usual.
"Last I heard Garrett was running with a group of mercenaries operating out of The Bite. I swore I’d bring him back home, to Falcon’s Roost. For good."

Dogs are well known for hearing. Listening. Some regarded them as pets, being a pair of ears when nobody else could provided them. The Hound had this in common - yet another connection to justify the nickname.
...When he was sobre...
❝ How endearing. ❞
Sandor grumbled.
❝ Off to protect your sibling?
So, what do you do when he doesn't want to come h o m e. ❞
