“… We could just celebrate being here together?” He asked curiously. “I… I think I like that–” he said before hastily muttering “–Idon’thinkIhaveabirthday.”
“So… is it like an anniversary?”
He said it really fast, but she managed to catch it. Poor guy didn’t have a birthday at all? She just thought it’d be on a different day than Riku, but then, she didn’t understand the whole Replica thing. “Weeeell,”

The pirate looking guy who was chasing Selphie through the castle came up behind her, putting a hand over her mouth. "If you wish to live, you won't scream." He said.

Blank.
Her mind was completely blank with shock right then. If her mouth hadn’t been forcibly covered, her first instinct would be to scream at the top of her lungs, but as it was, her thought process was delaying her instincts.
For… just.. a… moment.
And then, she followed her second instinct –she licked whoever’s hand was over her mouth.
“You’re all red!” Wolf smiled, “Goddamn it, you’re cute!”
He smiled, and lead her to the dining room, which was actually rather small compared to the other room.
“Here’s my private dining room.” He said, “And look! Mammoth steaks!”
“I’m...! Just red ‘cause I’m from an island!” she lied, clearing her throat sheepishly. Nevermind that that wouldn’t work unless she was already red. She quietly added, “I am super cute, though.”
She was probably just as red the whole walk to the dining room. But as soon as she saw what was in it, the bashfulness was quickly replaced with excitement.
“Mammoth steaks?! Like, steaks made out of MAMMOTHS?! Dang it, you guys are so cool!”

Luckily, Shadow’s foot had been creeping towards the pedal as she started her countdown, so it didn’t take too long for him to react and floor his own pedal, racing off after her. Knowing Selphie though, he wasn’t too worried. He doubted she would be too clever with her racing in her excitement, so all he would need to do is take the corners well and he’d likely catch up and pass her somewhat quickly… whether or not he was right in his thinking would remain to be seen though.
“Ah!” She half-shrieked half-laughed when he was taking off exactly when she had. And she thought she had managed to pull a fast one on him there! It turned more into a fit of giggles as she tried to keep head and head with him. Y”ou were just as eager as me! Darn it, there goes my headstart! Fine, then, I’ll just have to show you up with my skills! I drive boats all the time, this is probably going to be waaay eas--”
She couldn’t even finish that statement before another go-kart that seemed to come out of nowhere drove past her. She had to do a double take.
“Am I hallucinating, or was that a tiny monster driving that go-kart? It totally was, wasn’t it? --Well he won’t beat me either!”

“I mean, I– what? My birthday? This isn’t about me…” He purposely drifted off at that, unable to break the growing awkward silence. He actually hadn’t considered it himself either.
“We can celebrate my birthday and your birthday together on your birthday, since mine passed! So see, it’s about you too!” Then again, she thought better of it. He probably didn’t have the same birthday as Riku or something.
“Or we could just pick any old day and spend together to celebrate the fact that both of us are in the world! That’s the point of a birthday party, anyway. I even still have some fireworks left!”
