Hi! Thank you so much for your kindness! Sorry to bother you, but I'm wondering what KVIPs think about BIGBANG and army. Do you think they'll come back as BIGBANG after their enrollement duties, or they'll disband and continue their solo activities? Because you said YG does not promote BB as he should, do you think after the army, he will not take care of them (as he did/doing with Se7en) or they will still be the n°1 artist under YG Ent? (I'm a VIP/YG fan and I saw how he did with BB's sunbaes)

It is of course their decision, but I think they will continue to be together, BIGBANG members already can do as many solo activities as they would like, so there is no need for them to say goodbye from each other. I think that YG will continue to promote BIGBANG as long as they are still a profitable group.

Sorry this is not about Big Bang but korea. I might be going to seoul soon by myself and I don't want to go with the tour guides, is it possible to hire someone (a young guy/girl) to show you around seoul?

Yes, there are many companies who provide that. They will be easy to find at the airport, or you can arrange it before.

is it true that kvips keep a lot of secrets among themselves in order to protect bigbang and their reputation? is it also true that "famous" vips have a special bond with big bang on a personal level?

The first question, yes. I am not sure who the famous VIP are? But there are people in each fanclub who talk to YG staff and can contact the members.

What do you think about Jennie Kim the trainee and the hate she receives because of her bullying rumour and her constant featurings in songs?

I dislike the way that YG has been putting her into everything, especially Jiyong’s work. I do not follow news about her, but I have heard about the rumor of bullying. If it is true, she will have a very difficult time gaining popularity.

what is a black card in korea? is it hard to obtain one?

The black card is not just in Korea but international, I think it is by an American company American Express, you cannot apply for it and you have to be invited to receive one.

are big bang members well off pre debut or was it after a few years then they became rich from all the money they made? it seems like top's family was always rich (is he a son of an upper official, his dad?)

Except for TOP, none of the other members came from rich families. But they are all very wealthy now!

I'm really glad to hear that GD & TOP are still good friends. In 2013, they talked so little, it seemed that the wall between them. Thanks for your blog and for your answers! Can I ask ... Are there any funny or cute stories about GD & TOP?

Jiyong and TOP are very cute together, there are a lot of stories of them. When they were trainees, Jiyong used to sleep for very long, but TOP slept for even longer so the other members gave Jiyong the job to wake him up and it was very difficult, he had to shout so loudly that everyone on the street could hear him. There used to be a few wild cats outside the apartment of BIGBANG and they would not go away, once Jiyong came downstairs and looked at the cats and then TOP came and picked them up and began frightening him with them. I wrote about this before but once there were anti-fans outside YG saying bad things about Jiyong and TOP jumped out suddenly so they ran away. Whenever BIGBANG was going to take photos Jiyong would always check the other members’ clothes but he would always ask TOP if his hair looked good. A fan once saw the members outside and she ran to TOP, she had two ice creams and told TOP to choose one. TOP took both of them, later the fan saw him again and asked him to give one back to her. TOP said "I didn't take it!" but then the fan saw Jiyong eating the other one. Once Jiyong and TOP went to a concert by 프리템포 and Jiyong was sick so he did not clap happily, then a fan saw TOP making strange faces and jumping around to make Jiyong laugh. Once they were in a lift and TOP kept pressing the buttons for each level so they went up really slowly and the rest of the members were annoyed. This is a story from a staff member, once they were preparing for a show and Jiyong could not stop laughing, then they discovered that he had painted TOP’s nails a gold color and they had to remove it before the show. There are stories of Jiyong pulling TOP around when he was drunk, when they were both drunk no one could control them. Jiyong used to call TOP “oppa” which is what Korean girls call older brothers, to act cute, and they are often seen shopping together and choosing clothes together. They are cute^^

Hi there! I read your answer about YG and how VIPs have had to do everything on their own. Ugh I knew I didn't like YG and now I dislike him even more. What do you think about YG's management of 2NE1?

Avatar

I am not a fan of 2NE1 so I do not follow their news, but it seems that the fans are also very angry at YG, which is not surprising at all.

Have you had plastic surgery before? (How was the experience?) I'm not judging you, just curious ^^ do girls in high school usually get their nose and eyelids done?

Yes, I have. Girls often do surgery in high school or shortly after high school. Double eyelid surgery is very common, most girls will choose to do this, and many will choose to open the corners of their eyes, change their noses as well, some will change the shape of the face but this is a little less frequent. I have done double eyelid surgery, it was not at all painful but my eyelids had a small bandage on them for a week so I could only look down. For the eyelids to heal completely it lasts about six months.

Dear friends~ Thank you very much for following this blog. I am quite surprised and very thankful for your interest and love for BIGBANG. I have been trying to answer as many questions as I can, but when I opened tumblr tonight, I found almost two hundred questions sent to me. Although I would like to answer quickly, I must concentrate on my job again. Because I can only write answers at night, it may be a long time before an answer to your question becomes posted. Please forgive me for the delay.

Would you mind sharing some cute or funny accounts/stories of when kVIPs met GD? A few of the ones I've read from iVIPs are mainly him being quiet/shy/cool - and I wonder if it's different for kVIPs since there's no language barrier :P

He has always been cool, I think he is actually more talkative to international VIP! But Korean VIP are even cooler to him^^ I will tell you some stories that I remember now. Many years ago a group of VIP were following Jiyong and he turned around and told them “Don’t follow me anymore” so the fans walked away coolly. Then they turned around and saw him looking at them and pouting. Because Jiyong used to spend a lot of time shopping in Hongdae, there were times when fans saw him from the back and said “ah, he looks like G-Dragon!” and he would not turn around but then the fans saw his face and he was laughing. But when a small child walked to Jiyong and said that he looked like G-Dragon, he hugged him^^ VIP really like laughing at his nostrils, it is a big joke for us, and Jiyong knows this. So once when he came out of YG building, a fan shouted that she liked his nostrils and thought that he would be embarrassed, but he said “I know, aren’t they pretty?” and she was shocked and could not say anything. Once Jiyong said in a radio show that he would not marry a VIP. So we sent a long letter to him with all of our signatures telling him that we are divorcing him. Jiyong is also famous for being very very protective of Seungri. A short time after their debut, BIGBANG had a fan meeting where they signed albums, and one of the fans said that she didn’t like Seungri and didn’t want his signature. The manager told them to continue but Jiyong became angry and refused to sign the album until she apologized. Once a fan met Jiyong and Gaho when they were walking outside and she wanted to talk to Jiyong so she walked to them and said that she liked his dog, but she could not remember Gaho’s name so they ended up standing in silence. There was also a time when BIGBANG was talking on a radio show and there were fans outside listening. The host asked them a question about love (I can’t remember what the question was, something like “have you ever fallen in love, kissed, had a long relationship?”) but Jiyong shyly said “no” and all of the VIP outside shouted “Lie!” (their famous song) and started singing. There are so many stories about Jiyong and VIP! Rather than loving him we spend much more time laughing at him^^

when you say the fanclub pays for bb's solo activities/promotions and that its blackmailing, what exactly do mean? like are u just talking abt the money fans pay for previous albums/concerts/merch or....... where else is the company supposed to source that money from?

Maybe I used it in the wrong way. What I mean is that YG knows how much we care about the members and their solo activities, but solo albums have never been very important to YG's business. So he has done less and less over the years to promote the members' solo albums, because he knows that we will do what he does not to promote them. So we are in a very poor situation, we are paying for the album's promotions, but we are also paying for the album. No money left!

I've heard blind dating is sort of a culture in Korea. Is it true? And if so can you tell me more about it or the dating style in Korea

I think you mean meetings? Yes, they are very common in Korea. Usually two people will set up a meeting, so they will get a group of friends, usually 5 or 6 boys and girls, and then they all come to a place and meet each other, maybe a coffee shop or a park. It is just a friendly meeting, there is no romantic part in it. Then they play games or do fun activities to become more familiar with each other, and if there are two people who like each other then they will contact each other after the meeting and maybe they will start dating. But it is not necessary that this will happen, so it is just like meeting new friends.
