Haha, yup, someone asked me already, but thank you for asking again! ❤ I'm doing pretty much okay - had a few rougher weeks a little while back due to illness and all, but much better now! I've just been away from fandom and tumblr for a couple of months - not through any conscious decision or anything, just got wrapped up in lots of other stuff at home and at work so it just... happened. I'm sure I'll be back at some point, though! How are you doing? I hope things are going well for you!

Hey friend, thanks for the message and for checking in. It's... been a while, hasn't it? I think I was posting here about up until Star Trek Discovery ended, and after that... well, I've been ill on and off for a couple of weeks, and kind of in energy-conservation mode for that and a couple of other reasons, which is how I ended up going into fannish hibernation for a while. I hope, once my health (and maybe the weather - it feels like this winter's lasted long enough already) improves and my energy levels are back up, I'll be more active around fannish spaces again. Again, thank you so much for thinking of me - and I hope you're well too. Take care! ❤

What it says on the tin: an Annie Blackburn fest on “I’m fine” day (give or take the usual fuzzy chronology… by my math it adds up to March 28th-ish)

  • The point is to reinsert Annie in the “25 years later” narrative canvas loosely painted by the third season (before, during or after it)
  • I think there’s plenty of interesting takes to be had while maintaining The Final Dossier’s Annie situation, but feel free to ignore it partially or completely
  • wrt the rest of Peaks canon, go as wild with inaccuracies as Mark Frost would want you to, but this project started from the question “why the heck isn’t Annie in TPTR, it’s not like it’d take rocket science, you could easily put her anywhere???” so I would prefer no full upheavals of overall canon
  • It should go without saying but an Annie fest is an Annie-positive event. Tragedies, yes, because Annie because Twin Peaks; bashing, no
  • Your post can be anything a Tumblr post can be. Art, fic, meta, all the usual suspects and then some
  • Please tag it #annieisfine so I can find it and reblog it here on @countdowntotwinpeaks

Well, I didn't get as much sleep as I'd have liked to and my head is still killing me, but it's going to be a sunny day and my fic got recced on Dreamwidth by someone whose opinion means a lot to me so that's nice.

Blegh, I've been ill since Thursday evening and it's one of those annoying viruses that don't quite leave you in a shape where you can't function at all but still enough body parts (throat, ears, head) are hurting that every little thing you do feels ten times more exhausting than it normally does...

i don't know if i could pick just one favourite, but your older twin peaks fics are especially important to me because you were one of the authors who made me fall in love with albert after my first viewing of the show. i didn't have strong feelings about him the first time around, but then i went and devoured all the fic i could find, and came out of it loving albert rosenfield
