“U-Uh…” Well that was a question that Raine wasn’t really ready to answer… She couldn’t exactly just come out and tell him, that would be terrible.
"We… Adopted her." Yes… That’s right, it didn’t seem like anyone really noticed when she was gone for all of yesterday.
"Oh," and that's his only response as he poked the infant in the side. "It's...Squishy." He commented before cocking his head.
"Like you did me?" He recalled Raine mentioning that she got him from a hospital ward...Whatever that was.
"Maybe you should call her...Um...Nami."
"Or Judy after Jude."
—“This… Is your new sister Asbel. Say hello to her.” Raine revealed the small child so that her son may see. “We haven’t thought of a name for her yet either so maybe you could help.”
"Oh..." He's actually feeling extremely threatened right now, but is trying hard not to show it.
"Well uh...Where did you get her, Mom?" Asbel questioned as he moved closer to the infant in order to poke its side.

"Am I doing this right?” The wannabe knight questioned as his mother intertwined their fingers and continued to lead. “You’re doing fine, Asbel.” She praised as she turned, the male following suit.
This was his first time ballroom dancing…He’d wanted to impress Sophie so he asked the only person he could trust with these types of things.
Plus if he asked Alvin Raine would just smack father number one and take him away to give him advice anyway.
"Your foot here Asbel," she instructed, voice calm and eyes twinkling in pride. She was proud of her mentally youngest son. He was doing so well for something that took the others quite a while to learn. "And you pull your arm up and…"
Easily he followed instructions as the wannabe knight moved in order to allow his mother to twirl and fall gently in his arms, both giggling soon after.
"You did perfect." Raine added before slowly getting up, sapphire eyes twinkling along with the boy’s natural blue—Seldom did the wannabe ever take off his contacts.
"Can we try again, Mommy?"
"Of course."
They danced the night away, the others soon joining.

A hand so soft and tender, that familiar touch of a mother that every child had yearned for as grown. That was the single thing that connected the mother and son as the stood together watching the sun set, bathing the sky in a twilight gleam to greet the duo.

The mother asked as she smiled, giving a simple glance towards her boy. With a tiny nod his eyes remained locked onto the beauty set above them. “Did you know that no matter where you are in the world we see the same beautiful stars and sky? You are never alone Asbel. So if mommy ever isn’t there one day just remember to look up to the sky alright? Because we will always be together.”
