okay, anyone, truth time. Say that I’ve come to the realisation that I don’t think I’m ever gonna fall for someone who’s going to fall for me too! it just doesn’t happen to me and it feels like the sooner I just realize that the happier I’ll be! Constantly craving what I’m no close to having is exhausting. I’m not miserably unhappily in love, I’m miserably tired trying. so maybe I don’t actually need it - I’m just gonna settle on being happy with me, cause that’s all there is. Me and me until death do us part.

I think you’ve all heard about the enormous tragedi that’s taken place in Nepal, The International Committee of the Red Cross does tremendous work in crisis situations and has put together a register of missing persons where one can find relatives and loved ones or report them missing. The register also allows the same people to communicate that they're in fact alive.
It deserved to be spread, just in case. It might help someone who’s been affected or knows anyone who’s been.

I once baked a cake for my friend whilst being in an extreme hurry, she was just about to come over, so I raced around the kitchen doing everything at once and finally got to the last thing - beating the whipped cream. It all happened so fast next thing I remember is my other friend yelling, quite horrified, “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?” And me being a second from putting the beaters into a socket next to me instead of the electric mixer laying on the counter! Never bake during stress, there are no guarantees of living through it!!!

it recently came to my understanding that I've become too occupied with school, as I'm currently studying peace and conflict-studies/foreign affairs, when I no longer associate Richard Armitage with Thorin Oakenshield but with Richard Armitage, deputy secretary of state during the Bush administration. It's sad. I feel my innocent youth slowly simmering away.

I've been traveling south east Asia for a total of 6 months, both on my own and with friends and I'm back home and I'm having the biggest identity crisis of my life. I've been away three times, which means I've gone home three times as well. After two of those times I returned within 3-5 months - but this time, I don't know if I will - either at all or when it might happen. I've moved away from home to try out studying for a while and it's great, I like it a lot but I left such a big part of myself on the other side of the world and I don't think I can do that yet! I miss the sun, the easy way of living, the diving oh god how I miss the diving, the mentality of the people and also all the friends I've made who's currently living over there. It makes me tear up a little bit just thinking about it. why can't you do everything and be everywhere at the same time?
