Alright lads! Here’s my entry for the JMGE, as requested by my secret santa, @yoitay, who wanted PacRim! Merry Christmas, friendo! I hope I delivered everything you wanted. This was a blast to write.
Fic Summary: Jean Kirschtein is a Jaeger pilot, just trying his damnedest not to meet a disappointing end. Maybe he had goals once. Maybe there was a part of him that the storm didn’t touch. Not anymore.
Having been kicked from the Mark II Jaeger, Atlas Rogue, on account of the fact no-one Drifts with Eren Jaeger and walks out unscathed, Jean finds himself relegated to the Anchorage Shatterdome, Alaska, the very edge of the world. There’s a new Mark IV about to be launched, and it needs a pilot. Technically - it needs two pilots. It’s a shame he has a chip on his shoulder the size of a Kaiju.
A JMGE PacRim AU for Yoitay, exploring the journey of a Jaeger pilot from the bottom of the barrel, to the cusp of hope, across every up and down in between.

Fic Summary: Ymir has yearned for the stars far longer than she has been a starship pilot for the IASA. Home holds nothing but bad memories and worse regrets. She searches for answers amongst the constellations, longs for some semblance of purpose in the universe, begs black holes for a second chance at the things she has left behind on Earth.
On a frontier mission to the heart of the Milky Way, plundering new stars for hospitable planets upon which to replant the human race, Ymir’s resolve as a captain is tested in ways she never quite expected when a diversion off-course results in an inexplicable discovery that terrifies her beyond measure.
Alternatively: lesbians in space where everything that could go wrong, goes wrong. But in a hopeful sort of way. Also Sasha is a robot. C'mon.
Chapter Summary: Having uncovered infrared transmission data from a planet balancing on the edge of a black hole, the crew of the Providentia have to decide what must be done. It doesn’t pan out the way Ymir might have hoped. But nothing ever does.
Author’s Note: Look at that, a project I actually updated! (If only Droplets got this kind of attention …) Thanks for the feedback from last time - it was really promising. Please leave kudos or a comment if you read! It’s a great source of inspiration and motivation.

Author’s Note: Here it is! My much lauded space lesbians project. Got some Yumikuri for you today because by God, we need some Yumikuri fic in this world where they’re the main stars. This fic is Ymir-centric, with main supporting roles being Jean, and later Krista, and some secondary Jeanmarco as well. So if Ymir & Jean brotp is your thing … Anyway! Check the tags for more details!
It’s not Droplets, but I’m really proud of it, so if you like my approach in Droplets, hopefully you’ll like this. It borders a lot on the metaphysical as usual. But Drops 25 is under production, so that’ll be next!

Dear all,
Due to a combination of Hotmail being a dick, and me having this account linked to an email address I have had since age 13, this will probably be the last time I post on this account.
I no longer have access to this account from anything but my phone, and due to Hotmail DELETING MY EMAIL ACCOUNT, I cannot recover it. Tumblr app does not enable changing emails or passwords, so I can only watch the world burn.
This account will hence forth be abandoned (unless by some miracle I fix this, which is unlikely given all I have already tried).
I have a new account: the-prophet-lemonade.tumblr.com so please refollow me there. Normal service will resume.
DROPLETS and all other writing content will now go out from my new account for the immediate and probably indefinite future.
