Jordy McDonough and Finn McQueen had been struggling to have children after they were married.  They finally learned about the McDonough Method, a phenomenon where male couples in the McDonough family are able to conceive children on the first try with their male partner because of some aliend DNA that entered into their family generations before.  At a loss, Jordy was helped by a long-distant alien relative, who helped rejuvenate the powerful alien DNA, as well as the ability to conceive children.

So twins Owin and Dugald were conceived and born in a day because of the potent alien DNA running through their dad’s blood.  Despite their rapid entrance into the world, the rest of their lives have been relatively normal and fun.

Here are some family photos from their toddler and childhood years.

My legacy “40 somethings,” Jordy and Finn, spent their day off in San Myshuno.  They checked out a karaoke bar and the Spice Festival.  A great time was had by all.  Loving this expansion pack so far!

Remember these guys? Yes, my legacy family is finally back in action - just in time for a little Father’s Day story....

It’s a terribly small photo, but this is the new Sims family I’m working on - the Carnival Gang.  This is part 1 featuring Grug the Living Caveman, Rita the Bearded Lady, Bip and Bop the Geek Twins, Boris the Strongman, Lady Lupa Canis the Dog Woman, Little Dolly, and Mr. Bones.  My next group will feature some trapeze artists, Teapot the World’s Smallest Boy, Lady Amazonia the Giant Woman and others.

So, after creating a couple of characters for the 29 Days of Sims challenge, I decided to create a full-on series of 1930′s carnival Sims.  I really would like to  add an trapeze act, but so far I haven’t been able to find any cc that would be a perfect match.  Does anyone know of anything that would resemble these photos?

The 29 Days of Sim Making - Day 10, Geek

Well, the biggest geek I know is me, so, here’s a little self Sim for you all to behold.  Whether I’m embracing my inner Clark Kent or my Superman, I embrace my geekiness through and through. I’m now just old enough to celebrate it, instead of running from it :)

The 29 Days of Sim Making - Day 9, Diva

Meet Lady Champagne - Diva of the Windenburg nightlife.  She hosts all the best parties, with all the best people.  Her invitation list is always. very. exclusive.  By day, it’s rumored that Lady Champagne masquerades as one Kelvin LaFleur.  Don’t ask her if it’s true though.  A real lady never reveals her secrets.....

The 29 Days of Sim Making - Day 8, Lovable Grandma

My Grandma Agnes was always the one who made my birthday cakes as a child.  No-one could make the whipped seven minute frosting like she could!  To this day, every time I celebrate my birthday, it’s with a nostalgic nod to her.

The 29 Days of Sim Making - Day 7, Based on a Song

The Decemberist’s 2009 rock opera “The Hazards of Love” contained a character named The Rake.  He was a despicable philandering character who murdered his three children after his wife died.  The children eventually sought their revenge on dear old dad.  Great song, excellent album, classic band.

The 29 Days of Sim Making - Day 6, Cowboy

Nothing says “cowboy” more to me than the iconic 1970′s Marlboro Man.  He epitomized rugged coolness.  I’m not a smoker, but I sure crushed on this guy!
