Homestuck is a webcomic that features flash animations and some interactive bits. A lot of things happen, most of which probably won’t make sense to you at first. Hussie has a way of tying seemingly unrelated things together the deeper the story gets, which is one of the things you might find most interesting about the comic (I do, at least), to say nothing of the amazing characters that you will be introduced to along the way.
Most of all, Homestuck is very long (The pages number in the thousands!). Don’t expect to get caught up in one sitting, take your time to get into the story and enjoy it. Keep in mind that there is a lot of reading involved. It might be for you, or it might not. But it’s seriously worth a shot.
I hope that was a good enough explanation, Homestuck is pretty tough to “explain” because of how complex it can get, it’s something you need to see for yourself. And I appreciate you liking my art! It’s been a while since I’ve updated but i’m glad the fandom still likes what I’ve put out. Good luck anon!

How do you make such beautiful things? I mean I got a tablet recently and I feel like I'm drawing with mittens and handcuffs with my eyes closed and I don't understand how everyone has these pretty brushes and I'm like derp omg
If you've recently started to use a tablet then it's good idea to take the time to experiment with the brushes you have and decide which ones you are most comfortable with. Practice with those, decide what works for you and what doesn't and the rest will flow from there. I've had to try like seven different programs and a million other brushes before settling for Open Canvas's default brush, haha... :B

I just wanted to say that wow you are a fantastic artist, and I didn't even realize that some of my favorite pieces of fanart came from you. Not only that, but your other art is fucking awesome too. I hope you have a lovely day, and take care of yourself in college. That's the most important thing to do for yourself; when/if you do come back you'll be greeted with open arms again. Hiatus (?)
As you can see I haven't updated this blog in a long time. It doesn't mean I haven't stopped drawing, nor does it mean I am going to kill this blog for good. I'm still following Homestuck, and some time in the future I might start using this blog again, but right now things look hazy. My interests and lifestyle have changed drastically, and college has become an important part of my life, which is where I'm centering all of my motivation and creativity.
I hope you guys understand, it's really hard for me to do this. Thank you all for a good time, I'll still be with you every step of the way. :)

Well go no further to satiate this ravenous desire than right here! Yes, the very spot which your cursor dangles above in the bowels of cyberspace. Now you too can fill your quota for questionably ‘chibi’ art, for the low low price of only 2 Canadian Dollars!!
‘Well golly,’ you’re probably thinking, ‘just how can I go about obtaining one of these oddly linear works of art?’
Simple! Just follow these easy steps, and read about what I am willing to draw!
- Send an ask or fanmail to either my art blog (handmaid-sexual) or my main blog (itwascanon) OR, send an email over to apollo_palm_tree@hotmail.com stating you would like a commission/are interested in a commission! (Also do send info about what you’re interested in having drawn)
- If you absolutely positively 100% NEED your commission to be digital full-colour, let me know!!! Otherwise, commissions are a little like mystery bags, in that the end result can vary. Your order has a chance of looking like any of the samples above, however if it’s traditional it’ll be scanned in.
- I will probably send your commission to you via email first to make sure it is ok. If it is, you can then pay me via paypal.
Rules/Good things to know
- $2 CAD gets you a maximum of 2 characters to a picture. If you would like more characters it will be extra, or I may just not be able to draw it!
- If you for sure want a full-colour digital drawing and will not be satisfied with any other medium please add $1 CAD to the price.
- I do not do backgrounds usually! Sometimes they may be solid colours or patterns but most of the time there will be none!
- I am no good with porn, mecha, anthros or really animals in general*!
- * I am ok with mermaids and nagas!
- I’m good for ocs, homestuck and anything you can give me references for! The more specific you are with what you want me to draw, the better!
