hello and welcome to the birdhouse mysteries a savage worlds actual play podcast i’m your host and gm ellen and i’m here to tell you about the weekly shenanigans of our mostly lgbt crew!

since february we have engaged with wonders and fantasies such as: a creepy cult that kidnapped a local heiress, tears in the fabric of reality, a gaggle of hags, a brace of basilisks, a book heist, and a very unsubtle hawking of wares inside a tavern, and that’s just what has aired thus far

you can and should look forward to: six banny’s in a hallway, a sudden heart attack, the complete disintegration of a small town’s political system, the resurgence of that creepy cult, lying in a public records building, a very bad brunch, seemingly infinite ice cream, and an all-goblin town all the time

join us mondays for some more fast furious and fun fantasy follies and anytime for transcripts of our episodes

[image descriptions: four adventurers in monochromatic colors. the first is a bipedal dog person colored purple holding a knife. he has gems for eyes and three orbs floating above his head. the second is a green forest half-giant woman wielding a large club. she is buff and gay. third is an orange djinni man with a smug expression holding fire in his hand. last is a blue celestial-blooded woman with pupil-less eyes and incredibly curly, kinky white hair. she is in the middle of uncorking a potion from her utility belt. end id] art by @sigmarue on twitter

I think tumblr would love the nonbinary southern drow ghost hunter fighter/barbarian I just played for a oneshot on the beholder to no one podcast

[image description: digital art of Ditch from the waist up, drawn by @kuznetsovs. ditch is a nonbinary drow with dark grey skin, massive ears, bright yellow eyes, and scars all over their face. they have short, bubblegum pink hair, with a longer section that flops down in front of their face. they’re wearing a black v-neck shirt and yellow overalls, and are holding their battleaxe over one shoulder. the background is a muted purple circle with a light grey outline. end id]

I love you ditch… I ain’t never gonna stop loving you… ditch…

Imagine post-redemption Azula putting as much cunning and effort into planning regular events as she did her evil schemes.

Azula, planning Sokka's birthday party: This will be the best birthday party ever held! Children and adults alike across the world will quiver in awe for generations to come!

Azula: Ty Lee, rearrange those flowers at once! You're disgracing Sokka, yourself, and most importantly, you're disgracing me.

That’s exactly what she’d be like

lend your local lesbian a hand

I hate to do this, but I’m no longer employed due to COVID-19, as I was a teacher. I’m immunocompromised, so I cannot safely go back into the job I was trained for, and I’ve not been able to draw unemployment, either.

While I am looking for employment currently, circumstances have arisen leaving me in desperate need: I can no longer afford the apartment I’m in. I’m putting out advertisements for anyone to sublease from me, but the rent is spiking up to $900. I’ve got $1,000 in my bank account, but I’ve still got to make car payments and buy food. My family is largely unemployed, though my mother is starting a new job in the coming week, so they cannot offer me much help.

Please, if you can offer any assistance, I would be indebted to you.

Constructs Laura Kicey

Construct is a series of images of places that do not exist. Their composite parts are the culmination of the ongoing photo-explorations of the artist. Using these photographic pieces, collected over three years, the artist blends together the intricate details of doors, bricks, peeling paint and mortar and gives them a new color and place of their own.
