We are not going to talk about how I forgot that the environment is supposed to be this pretty, flowery, water-like area... so what we ARE going to do is pretend that I remembered that detail, and that for the next couple of pages, Onua is just sitting in this little area where it is heavily wooded and has grass. (To be fair, I forgot about this detail at the end of Chapter 6 as well, so.)
Higher tiers get a discount on commission prices and can get free lineart for their coloring pleasure of any of my existing works! I am working on more benefits, but that's what I have so far!

Oh… yeah. It’s time for a scene change! What, did you think that I forgot about Onua? This chapter is about him too!
Okay, but in all seriousness… there is no easy way to draw that view upwards. The trees are ginormous in Le-Koro. Also, no. I did not forget that the center tree is supposed to be surrounded by water… we are getting there. We are going to pretend that Onua was launched into an area between the roots where there’s land.

Kaze is always really fun to draw because he’s this dark and moody character, but that’s also what makes him challenging to draw and write for. He’s got a fewer range of emotions than Kopaka…
Anyway. Thank you to those who reached out and asked if I was okay! I realize that I haven’t updated in a while and I just got caught up completing homework and passing classes. I still have projects to complete, but theyre not all due at the same times lol

… I had this whole neat little blurb written, and then tumblr refused to upload this page to y’all. Anyway. I’ll go back and edit the buttons in a bit because I’m not at my computer to edit things…
See, even though I know what is going to happen next, it is still sad to see it unfold haha I don’t enjoy breaking characters like this, contrary to popular belief. Poor poor Lewa. Anyway! I’ll (hopefully) see ya’ll in a week for the next page! I have some crazy big assignments due over the next two weeks, and then things slow down a little.

So if you are a subscriber on my ko-fi you could read the entire chapter sketches... but you'd notice that this bottom panel is very different from what was initially planned! Idk I thought that this looked better than what was there initially.
Also, these backgrounds... may not be like, super detailed, but trying to figure out how I wanted them to look was a challenge. Artistically, I just wasn't sure how to do it lol

Okay I was worried that I was going to have to postpone the update another week, but I got the big work done over the past day and a half!

I'm posting this here, just in case...
But like, y'all. I have the flats and background done for the next comic page, but here I am, stuck WRITING THREE PAPERS THAT ARE ALL DUE BACK TO BACK THIS WEEK.
I have the final draft of one paper (that is supposedly due tomorrow), and I have a super detailed outline of the second paper almost done. That particular paper will just require me to put ideas into sentences, but otherwise is basically done.
The third one... is just... it's there. I have basic ideas down, but I need to focus on that one next. That one is due Thursday. I really shouldn't call it a paper because it isn't actually a paper, but a discussion board response/post. But I'm calling it a paper because it takes a lot of time and research to respond to the questions the professor asks.
But I also have commission work that I need to get done as well, and the projects and papers keep hitting one by one and all at the same time.

In the past week, I have had both the stomach flu and a cold. So it has been a fun time this week lol ANYWAY.

Sooo… I had nothing else to do today, so I finished another page (which, if you want to be ahead by two pages from what is released publicly, you can check out my Ko-Fi!), but also I’ll be away this weekend, so the likelihood of me finishing the next page on time is… slim to none haha however!! I am officially up to 2 subscribers on my monthly support! Thank you for supporting me ❤️
I am also, officially, starting my next semester of grad school AND working full time, so if I’m ever late in posting a page, I’m trying to get projects or papers done.
‘I am absolutely dreading the pages after this sequence haha I’m still working on my backgrounds, much like everything else with my art. But those pages are background intensive :’)

Rahab was long overdue for a redesign. His original outfit was unique, but I didn’t really care for the color scheme, and given who Rahab is, the design didn’t make sense.
The short end of the bio that I can give you is that Rahab is one of the main leaders in Belial’s Fellowship, and is married to Araqiel. While the two do not have any biological children, they recognize Malphas and Gadreel (both children who were taken in under Araqiel’s care) as their adopted sons.
