After some research and going back to look at defining features I can say with some confidence that Russell Shaw drives a black 1965 Chevrolet Malibu. (It does have similar features to a certain beloved 1967 Chevy Impala, so I wanted to clarify.)

Also you can thank my dad and grandpa for taking me to car shows in my grandpa’s 1964 Chevy Impala SS and asking me repeatedly “what year is this car?” and “can you identify this car?” That knowledge is what made my Google search only take four minutes to pinpoint the car.
