That was still somewhat vague, but he still smiled and hugged her. Ben leaned down and wrapped his arms tightly around her before lifting her up.
“Well now you’re just stuck with me. Poor you.” Still it was warm and comfortable and he never wanted to let her go. Though eventually it would happen he was also glad to just be able to look up at her for a change.
"I want to be with you in ways that no one else ever could.” She giggled. “I don’t see that as being a problem. I like the idea of being stuck with you.”
"When I say I want to be with you Ben.. I mean I want to be yours, I want to be your love.. the one you come home to.. to have a family someday.” She focused on him, kissing his cheeks over and over before stealing a kiss from his lips.

Royal Entanglements
It was several nights later that the prince showed up again in the kitchens. He’d had a difficult time trying to find a good moment to go looking for the young woman, although he had confirmed with Captain Dameron that there was such a worker and he hadn’t just dreamt her up.
Still the evenings were about the only time he could get away at all, using the passage ways this time to just make his way to the kitchen. He had his cloak on just to be careful but he wasn’t sure his intentions for the evening included leaving the castle grounds.
He called out her name in a loud whisper, not wanting to alert one of the other cooks or the like as he hid just in the entrance until he was sure the coast was clear. “I, erm…. Got you something. It isn’t much but I wasn’t sure just what you’d like.” He held out a small gift wrapped in brown paper. Inside were ribbons for her hair, but as he said, he couldn’t think of much.
She hadn’t seen him for days and then there he stood in the doorway of the kitchens. Noticing him she moved over to the passageway, thankful that none of the others had seen him. She smiled brightly, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink from the gaze of the young royal that fell on her.
Every evening when she took time to rest, she thought about the night they had met and she longed to see him again, even though she was sure it wouldn’t be allowed. However she went about her chores, helping in the kitchens whenever it was needed, preparing meals for the Royal family.
She followed him into the passageway and took the gift he held out. She smiled up at him. “No one has ever given me a proper gift before.” She blushed even brighter now as she opened them, seeing the beautiful ribbons enclosed within. “My Lord.. these are beautiful gifts..” She swallowed hard. “So very beautiful.. I’ve only ever seen one thing more beautiful than them..” She blushed.. “Your eyes..” She held the box to her chest.

“Rey?”
He was afraid he might have done something wrong. Perhaps gotten a little too caught up in the moment even though she wasn’t pulling away from him either. He gently reached up and gently cupped her face, brushing a thumb across her cheek.
“You know there’s little I wouldn’t give to you if you asked for it…”
“I know. There’s only one thing I want Ben..”
She looked into his eyes, focused on his expression. He hadn’t done anything wrong, when he cupped her cheek in his hand she brushed against his hand, her hands resting on his chest. She didn’t want him to go away. She wanted him to stay as close to her as possible.

Ben smiled faintly after taking a peek into his quarters to make sure no one was lingering around at the moment. Usually the pillows threw people off but eventually someone was going to get wise to it. Besides he’d only mostly been joking about sneaking people into the castle. “Money can be quite the motivator for a lot of people, Rey.” He looked back at her however. “Somehow I don’t think it would work on you however.” There were also plenty who did have a moral compass but he was sure part of that was also that they cared for their subjects. It might go differently if the people were starving while the palace feasted.
“I trust you. And have no intention of telling my mother anything.” He’d be in just as much trouble for the sneaking out in the first place as she would be for assisting him in putting himself in danger. “But I’ll intercede if anything comes of it… Good night, then?” He held out his hand for a moment for a small shake before pushing into his quarters and wasting no time in getting out of his clothes.
She watched him as he peeked into his quarters, it would be at least another hour or so before anyone would come to check on him so he still had a little time. She nodded her head, placing her hand in his shaking it softly, yet with some strength. “Well then, I shall not keep you my lord.” She bowed respectfully and started to walk backwards into the darkness of the hidden passageway. “Goodnight sir..” She moved towards the darkness and returned to her mat just outside the kitchens in a tiny room. She laid there in the darkness, listening to the sounds of night in the castle. Her heart raced as her mind went back to him. She couldn’t stop thinking about him, no matter what she tried.

His gentle kiss didn’t last for long as she pulled him in. He just smiled however as she pulled away and asked for another. His hand moved to brush along her hair for a moment, moving in again and drawing her lower lip and nipping gently.
Ben pulled back only to find himself almost magnetically attracted toward another kiss. He craved the connection while his hands wandered, keeping a layer of cloth at least between the two of them still. When he did finally pull back his forehead just stayed pressed to hers while he tried to steady his breathing.
Rey took several deep breaths, trying to control her breathing. Feeling Ben’s forehead pressed to hers, pulled another bright smile from her lips. His hands had been all over her, even through the cloth of her clothing she could feel the pressure of his caress. “Ben..” She whispered softly.
It was true she craved this intimacy with him, the chance to merely exist without pretenses. She just wanted to be close to him, to look into his eyes and know that she belonged.

“I do.” He reached over and poked her gently on the end of the nose. “And if I teach you then maybe you won’t have to focus so hard and therefore won’t make it.” If it meant losing the chance to see her make that face again then maybe teaching her just wasn’t worth it.
His eyes focused down on her however, moving over the contours of her face and particularly focusing at the curve of her lips for a moment before he looked back in her eyes. He almost wanted to flat out ask permission but afraid it would go too far to break the spell as he leaned down enough to kiss her gently.
She looked up at him as he poked her nose and she scrunched her face up for him once more. She found herself taking in all his features, the way his hair brushed against his face, the way his lips moved when he spoke, the very feeling of his breath against her skin.
Without warning Ben’s lips met her and she melted against him. She kissed him back, her lips warring with his for control. She smiled against his lips and wrapped her arms around him. Breaking the kiss she spoke. “do that again..” She was breathing heavy.

His eyebrows rose slightly at the suggestion. He’d been teasing really but if she knew her way around then it was only likely that she’d have actually been by his quarters. Ben however could only guess at what sort of things he might have been doing worth hearing however. Unless his mother had shown up for one of her talks, the latest of which had included that he was not getting any younger and neither was she when it came to securing the succession. Which would mean marriage first and foremost but he knew where the whole thing had been going.
“I suppose that depends on if you’re going to lead spies from Arkanis up to my quarters in the middle of the night. Especially as you’ve yet to give me a name?” One admittedly he’d probably be inquiring about discretely tomorrow just to make sure she hadn’t just been making friends with Dameron’s dog and did actually work there. “I will be doing my best to remember the way however admittedly. Though the queen might not be so pleased that you’re helping me disobey her all the more.”
If this all worked out however and she was supposed to be there… Well he supposed he was going to owe her one. As long as it wasn’t anything too out of hand at least.
"I have no reason to do anything for them.” She looked into his eyes, there was no lie in her words and it showed nothing but truth. “Rey..” She looked at him. “My name.. is Rey.” She nodded her head. Damerons dog knew her because she worked there. “You can ask of me in the morning if you do not believe me. I work in the kitchens.. I’m nothing more than a servant. I’m pretty sure your mother will be very unhappy with me.. but I’ll take whatever punishment she gives me.”
"Just promise me.. that if she does in fact find out I’m helping you and decides to punish me.. help me out of it.”
Ya'll i just realized something wtf!
So after a 1000 times repeating at this beautiful masterpiece, i realised something majestic that i didn't paid attention to when i watched the movie in the cinema.
firstly, as you can see our babies were so terrified in this scene. Rey seemed to be so scared because she doesn't know how to get herself out from this situation and Ben is just filled with frustration and exhaution cause y'all know he fuckin sprinted to exegol with just a blaster to save her wife Rey and not knowing where the heck she is.
BUT THEN THIS BEAUTIFUL SHIT HAPPEND!!
The second they saw each other in the force bond, their faces just-- iiihh *squealing intensivies*
It's very clear in their face expression that they both finally found relieved and hope. Rey's neck just let loose as she exhales when she saw Ben. As if she was suprise he was here. Ben. She thought. You're here, you're really here.
Then you can see Ben's face. His eyebrows went from that serious frown to calm and relieved. He exhales, seemingly letting out the same frustration as Rey's. While smiling just a little on the side of his lips. Finally, i found you. I'm not to late.
They knew they had each other, no matter how different their opinions are. Their bond is more intimate then any other, their souls were strongly connected. And with that they finally found strength. Within each other, Together.
--aaaand this just goes to show how freaking amazing Daisy and Adam's actings are. They gave so much to this franchise for 4 years. And i can say in full confidence that they never seem to let me down, in all 3 movies. And how beautiful their chemistry are. I really enjoy seeing them together and hoping they would make another movie together out from Star Wars just because they deserve that much.
