Persona 4: Kiri no Amnesia (Summary)

I said I would do it, so here it is! I bought the Persona 4 spinoff light novel a couple of days ago, ran through it, and decided to write a summary since I don't feel confident enough to translate the whole thing page by page. For those who don't know, Kiri no Amnesia is a light novel set shortly after Yukiko's dungeon, covering an accidental trip into the TV World with just Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko. It was written in order to expand on the Shadows of the first two victims, Mayumi Yamano and Saki Konishi. It's not not canon, considering how it resolves in the end, but at worst I think it's some good insight for people who wanted to see more of Saki, like me.

There are no major spoilers for people who have played at least the first couple hours of Persona 4.

faq about the killing stalking wine

1. is it real?

it is real. it was not specifically formulated as a killing stalking wine and was instead an existing wine in collaboration with a unique label and some goodies with delivery. i did not just take a bottle of wine and put a killing stalking sticker on it.

2. is it actually a 1958 wine?

it’s the founding of the company?? i do not actually know when it’s from.

3. was it expensive?

it was like ¥4000. i bought it two years ago or something so i don’t remember exactly

4. why did you buy it?

long answer: a friend was having a going away party and i thought it would be really funny to buy a killing stalking wine since we always listened to “sangwoo keeps the listener in the basement” ASMR videos on youtube to torture each other. sadly the wine delivery was delayed until after their departure and i ended up just having this wine until i decided to drink it last month

5. how did it taste?

shockingly good. it was a sparkling red and sweet and was more like a wine soda or some kind of wine cocktail. 10/10 would buy again and i happily drank it all by myself

i’ve been doing some work that has involved me translating an old interview with yoshikazu yasuhiko and keiko takemiya about the OVA, and while all that may or may not appear in something in the future, the most important discovery is that keiko takemiya said she prefers serge to gilbert.
