he loved his hair so much and he gave it to a child without it for them to love too just as much, if not more, and that’s honestly so wonderful. i love harry so much.

honestly who fucking cares I’ve donated my hair like 6 times its not a big deal he can grow it back he’s not this god figure you want him to be

jesus christ yeah what i’ve donated my hair a bunch as well, and know a former coworker’s 19 year old boyfriend who grew out his hair and donated it ???

hey wow here’s an idea, how about you not try to shit all over a post that’s doing nothing but expressing someone’s personal excitement at seeing one of their favorite celebs do something admirable! it’s great that you both have experience with cutting your hair for donation, and i say that genuinely, as someone who has also cut and donated my hair to a similar charity. but like, given that you’ve done it, maybe you could be better at recognizing that there’s a pretty significant time commitment that goes into getting ready to do it, and for many people a significant emotional one as well, esp for people who get very attached to their long hair and how they perceive themselves/their image as part of their identity while they are growing it out. obvs i don’t know harry styles personally and i can’t speak for how he felt about the decision to cut his hair, but i can speak for myself, and for me it was a v hard decision and not one that i made as flippantly as you both are talking about it here. but even setting that aside why? do you care??? if people who are fans of a celeb get excited about a genuinely good thing that celeb has done????? it hurts literally no one, it was a really cool thing for him to do, and it’s also really cool to see a fandom with a reach of millions suddenly get exposure they might not have otherwise had to the concept of hair donation. no one’s saying he’s a saint, they’re just saying they think it was a good thing he did and they’re allowed to spend time on their own blogs doing that, just like you’re allowed to not spend any time on it on your own blogs if you don’t feel the same way
