• Professor Katsuki has the biggest crush on Professor Nikiforov, and thinks no one knows
• (everyone knows)
• Professor Nikiforov is head over heels in love with Professor Katsuki, and doesn’t try to hide it at all
• (everyone knows it, except Professor Katsuki)
• everyone tries to play matchmaker, and everyone groans daily in frustration, bc professor Katsuki is just so goddamn oblivious
• the minute Professor Katsuki was hired to teach at Hogwarts Professor Nikiforov forgot how to breath, Yuuri Katsuki was so, so beautiful. And so, so shy and unapproachable.
• he’s been madly in love with Katsuki since the Yule Ball, where Katsuki had one too many shots of firewhisky and they laughed and danced the night away; Katsuki doesn’t remember any of it
• Professor Nikiforov has been heard saying pitifully: “I thought I was using my charms on him, did I accidentally use a Memory Charm instead?”
• Yuri Plisetsky, a 5th year student and star of the Slytherin quidditch team, is 100% DONE with Professor Nikiforov (who he’s known for years, even before Hogwarts, and refuses to call “Professor”) and Professor Katsuki, Head of Slytherin and a Hogwarts Quidditch Legend (who he hates to admit he admires) 
• Professor Katsuki is an animagus, and the class where he transforms into a toy poodle is always the highlight of the school year for 3rd years.
• Katsuki thinks it’s an enormous coincidence that Nikiforov’s patronus changed from a swan to a standard poodle, very similar to his own animagus form and patronus.
• (Yuri Plisetsky almost had a seizure when he heard that)
• Nikiforov casts his patronus focusing solely on the memory of his night of dancing with Katsuki.
• Potions Professor Giacometti jokingly offering some love potion for Nikiforov to use on Katsuki, only to be scared to see the glint of hope in his eyes when he lifts his head. “Victor, no.” “I know. I know, I know, omg. I know. What’s happening to me”
• Professor Nikiforov offers to train Professor Katsuki in charms, out of sheer desperation; Katsuki looks at him as if he’s crazy.
• Later that night Katsuki goes over to the Nishigoris’ house; Takeshi (Keeper of Keys and Grounds) pours him some butterbear while he moans to Yuuko (the Herbology Professor) that Victor Nikiforov thinks he’s such a lame, untalented wizard, that he even offered to help him with charms.
• Nikiforov trying to hide from Professor Feltsman, Headmaster of Hogwarts, and ending up in the Room of Requirement. He spends almost an hour examining the thousand knick knacks hidden there, and finds a collection of chocolate frog cards of him. Only of him. He smiles: one of the students is a fan of his, how sweet! He mentions that on the breakfast table the next day - and is immediately concerned for Professor Katsuki’s well-being, who seems to have seriously choked on his food.
• Headmaster Feltsman is so, so done he’s thinking of retiring.
