The Brian May Band was initially formed in 1991 for the Guitar Festival in Seville, Spain and later toured with Brian on his Back to the Light Tour in 1992-1993 and the Another World Tour in 1998.
Core members of the band included Brian May (lead guitar/lead vocals), Cozy Powell (drums/percussion), Spike Edney (keyboards/backing vocals), Jamie Moses (guitar), and Neil Murray (bass).
Other members included Mike Caswell on guitar in 1992; Maggie Ryder, Miriam Stockley, and Chris Thompson on backing vocals in 1992; Catherine Porter and Shelley Preston on backing vocals in 1993; Zoe Nicholas and Susie Webb on backing vocals in 1998; and Steve Ferrone and Eric Singer on drums/percussion in 1998 (as Cozy Powell had tragically died earlier in the year).
