232 - Walnuts / Noix 233 - Pecan Nuts / Noix de Pécan And also almonds and peanuts, but those I’ve already done, do not counting. I’m not making it daily anymore, so any new sculpt will only get a number from now on. And in case you’d like to see a time-lapse of me sculpting these, here you go https://youtu.be/yhK5CDSw68g
I thought it’d be good to write a little about this daily challenge (that isn’t really daily anymore) and maybe inspire you to start your own art challenge! It was exhausting but also brought me so much! :)
Day 231 - Pumpkin / Citrouille
Yes, yeees I know, I am not uploading one sculpture daily these days.
To make it up, I filmed the process of sculpting these miniature pumpkins https://youtu.be/WkbChF-j4pc
Friends again? :)
Day 230 - Apples / Pommes
Just in time for autumn :) My daily challenge is turning into a weekly one, I hope it’s ok for you :)
I also made a video about those apples, check it out on youtube :)
Day 229 - Lemongrass / Citronelle / Cymbopogon
I started this challenge to move people toward eating more veggies and less animals products. But I don’t want you to push you into orthorexia or an unhealthy relationship with food driven by guilt and sadness. Find a healthy balance between your ideals and your own happiness :
Day 226 - Pindaiba / Duguetia lanceolata St. Hill
Tasty fruit with little flesh. Hence the expression "Estar na pindaiba" which indicates that a person is "broke, down on his luck and has no alternatives but to eat pindaibas though he knows they are not filling".
Unfortunately this species found in the forests of the state of Sao Paulo is rapidly disappearing together with the forests as progress for housing developments and other land clearing projects are under way.
Day 225 - Mordilonus-Perolera-Malpure Pineapple / Ananas
Or the art to make a second pineapple, with a new technique and state it is another variety. First pineapple I made was on day 65, second (black and pink!) on day 204.
Day 224 - Oaxacan Red Bean / Haricot Rouge Oaxacan
I’m back for the challenge :)
After my recent burn-out, I’m changing the rules a bit. From now on I will do the challenge on working days mainly, the week-end should stay free. If I go on holidays, no sculpting, photographing, post-processing madness in advance. AND after 300 different fruit and veggies I’ll go to sculpting fruit and veggies, but not necessarily only new ones. :)
Sooooo I’m taking a few days off from my #dailyminiveggie #art challenge. Wait, what??? Hop, hop : http://tinyurl.com/pmcdzz5
Day 220 - Peanut / Cacahouète / Arachis hypogaea
Day 219 - Granadilla / Grenadelle / Passiflora ligularis
