Even though he was starting to get controlled by the mark this was his first question that came out maybe subconsciously he noticed everyone else but the fact of the matter was that Sakura was his first top priority

When will the world realize that childhood friends to lovers is far superior to enemies to lovers

Katara slowly widens her eyes in realization; as if having an epiphany.

There are scars on the palms of Katara’s hands. When she dipped them, burnt, into the river and discovered she could heal they came out with pale, puckered lines. Water has memory, and fire leaves wounds, and Katara bears Aang’s mistake like corrosion. They cover the parts of her hand that hold secrets; they break the love line in half and quarter the life line, and one wraps around the base of her thumb like jewelry.

When she waterbends, they warp and fold like waves, or light reflecting off the sea, moving somehow with the same grace as she does. They distract Aang sometimes when she’s trying to teach him. How can he focus on feeling the water push and pull within him when it’s guilt that boils in his stomach?

When she warms her hand over the fire, they cast shadows. When she clenches her fist, they form into mountains. When she hugs Aang, or slaps Sokka, or pets Momo it’s with skin marred by Aang’s own culpability.

When Aang gives her a necklace, it’s the scars, raised just a hair higher than the rest of her skin, that the ribbon rests on.

Well into their marriage, Aang takes her hand in his own and traces the lines thoughtfully, an uncharacteristic frown on his face.

Well into their marriage, Katara reminds him that it was an accident that led to a greater realization of both of their powers.

Aang can still never find the right words for an apology. Katara can still never find a reason to receive one.

Many still don’t understand that Mai and Zuko´s relationship was not supposed to be a healthy one

Their first scene as a couple, the “i didn’t asked you to tell me your whole life” was pretty much why it couldn’t work that time.

Zuko was in a dark place, he finaly got everything he though he wanted but was not happy,he was angry at himself ,therefore he couldn’t have a healthy relationship because his selfhatred overwhelmed him.

Mai on the other hand had a diferent understanding of love. For her affection was short sentences “i don’t hate you” . She was taught that she had to suppress her emotions so she asumed it would work for Zuko too. She just asumes that the better for Zuko was just let go his feelings and share a hug because thats how she had endure her life.

In their first meeting after their break-up , Mai finaly tell him Zuko she is angry and he hurt her , while by this point Zuko already had came in terms about his real identity. He opens to her which culminates in Mai forgeting about her loyalty to the nation and her own safety in order to save him and most importantly, she admits her feelings are not “Hey, this guy is cool and i don’t hate him” but “i love this guy so much that is worth imprissiontment or even death” and she tells it to Azula out loud ,finaly allowing herself to express emotione, even if her delivery is still stoic.

Thats why i find kinda pointless to judge the pairing on season 3 saying “they are not healthy” because…duh, thats the point ,they were not ready. They had to grow and find themselves, they did and their final scene shows their getting back together will make them truly happy for once.

Something I've never understood about "Zutara" is this idea that Katara 'chose' Aang over Zuko, as if Zuko was even an available suitor option vying for her love.

Zuko had a GIRLFRIEND and was never an option because of that and people just discard that??? He loved someone else. Y'all say you support Katara's wellbeing but are so willing to shit on Mai so hard? Couldn't be me.

Do you ever sit down and think about how Daenerys life was a cycle of violence? From her conception to her death?

Or that the first time we were introduced to Daenerys she was being abuse by her brother and the last time we saw her she was killed by her nephew? The only two family members she lived to see?

Or about no matter how much good you try to do or how much you achieve it will be viewed negatively and you’re destined to be a bad person because of your family history? Ultimately, you’ll be broken from carrying the burden of parent’s sin?

Or that the only one of the key characters that didn’t have a healthy familial relationship or a home was villainized in the end?

This was Daenerys arc and the message is utterly disheartening. If that was how her story was always meant to end then at the very least George should’ve given her a stable childhood.
