I think this is extremely fatphobic. Nobody says shit to Nicole Kidman or Charlize Theron when they make themselves “ugly” for a role. They talk about how “brave” it is or how they “committed to the role.” But when a fat woman doesn’t look absolutely perfect, it’s the worst thing ever.
And okay, I’m in the middle of a Gilmore Girls marathon and one of the many, many things I love about that show is that they never, ever not once makes a joke out of Melissa McCarthy’s weight. Her character may be kooky as hell, she may be used to comedy, but her body is never the butt of the jokes. The show makes sure to emphasize that she is gorgeous, and it never questions that she is not exactly as gorgeous as Lorelai/Lauren Graham.

I don’t get it. Do you feel that way about Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones? Even when he mentioned he got throat cancer from going down on her? It’s a double-standard. Aaron and Sam are so sweet, and there was an equal attraction - I just mean no one took advantage, but certainly he did more convincing. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is beyond a doubt one in a million. They share surnames. They keep their daughters out of the limelight and are selective about their projects because they love each other and their children so much. I don’t find it icky. I would marry a man double my age in a heartbeat, if he took care of me like Aaron does Sam. It’s just…love.

how to resize a gif without having to do shit
trying to find small gifs of underused fcs is pretty hard sometimes !! and resizing the gifs in photoshop is a bitch to do. so idk if anybody knows about this little trick but it’s hella helpful for roleplayers or rph blogs doing gif hunts. pretty sure this only works for gifs on tumblr, but hey maybe it works for other sites, idk. so yeah. check it out !!
- first !! find the image you want to resize and right click on it. then click “open in new tab”
- now all you have to do is change those last three numbers in the url !! you can change it to 100, 250, 400, or 500 (these are the pixel width dimensions yep)
- whoa !! check it out. that hot nana gif went from being a huge gif into a smaller 250px width gif!! neat stuff. now save that shit and rock on. x
