It’s been a few years since I last posted a violin cover, but I finally got my act together today and put together a piece I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. :) I learned the parts by ear, so I don’t have any sheet music (though I’m sure there’s plenty online). Hope you enjoy!

This weekend, I’ve been down with the flu, but Fox is doing a fantastic job of keeping me company, keeping the bed warm while I’m getting food, and keeping me warm under the covers at night.
I may or may not need to expand my opportunity-taking past the usual three.

Last month, I adopted my senior boy, Fox, from my local animal shelter. I felt conflicted about bringing a cat home with me because I wasn’t sure if I was ready to take care of him, or if it was the right time during my academic career, but I’m very grateful for my friends who convinced me to do so.
Meeting him for the first time! I recognized his name from volunteering, but I couldn’t put a cat to his name.
Fox is so handsome, and sweet, and now that he has gotten more comfortable, occasionally a little shit (but I love him regardless). He loves to spend time together. That includes hanging around my feet when I’m cooking, snuggling against me when I’m reading, and helping causing trouble at the keyboard when I’m on my computer.
If I’m on the bed, there’s a 75 percent chance that he’s there, too.
Living with him everyday motivates me to push through my education and life in general. He always brings a smile to my face, and I’m happy to be his forever human and give him a forever home.
I love you, Fox!

I just adopted my handsome boy, Starfox, on Tuesday of this week, and I love him so much. Happy International Cat Day to him and all his other feline friends in the world!
He is a gorgeous 9 year old domestic shorthair and siamese mix, and he is such a sweet boy who loves to snuggle, and I love him to bits and pieces.
