  • So last week marked the end of an era when Tony Hawk revealed, over Twitter, that he is no longer working with Activision, following the past failed attempts to refresh the franchise. While Activision does still own the rights to the IP, without its’ title celeb, it’s unlikely we’ll see anything new, other than maybe the occasional vapid HD money-grab. This was a series that, like the commercial suggested, made “everybody think they could skate like Tony.” Personally, I thought I could too: even got a skateboard for Christmas one year, but my career was cut short when I discovered that the board, and axles, were made of plastic, which promptly snapped when I tried to ollie.  Here’s to you, shining beacon of ‘90s-’00s gaming nostalgia. May you always be… a Superman.

anyone else remember how sick this scene was from the first pokemon movie?

  • the clean remix of the original theme
  • bulbasaur going airborne and being the amazing cabbage he is
  • squirtle throwing hands with a machamp
  • pikachu defying logic and beating a ground type with thunderbolt

critics all say this movie was terrible and tbh??? can’t relate…i’ll die loving this movie sorry
