“So, what you’re saying is… your boss wants me to bring in people with my appeal but not get paid for it? Your boss wants me to perform for free while people come to watch me perform and buy drinks from his bar so he makes money but I won’t?”

“I wasn't finished.” Zeke smiled and put his finger over Dahlia's lips hoping it wouldn't mess up her perfect lipstick. “I talked him into paying it because that is not right So, this Saturday at 10 p.m I am going to be watching your sexy body sliding all over that stage.”

“I like this little thing we have going on right now, Zeke-a-moes.” She said with a grin, her nose crinkling up a little as she leaned over the bar, pulling the bottle of beer close to her as she got close to him. Finally, Dina’s nose bumped up against his and she winked and pulled back to take a swig from her bottle. “Besides, if I give in, you’ll treat me different. I don’t want that.”

“It's only amusing for you. I keep getting shot down, and I don't know why.” Zeke leaned against the bar as he noticed no one was ordering drinks at the moment. He bit his lip when Dina got real close to him his face pressing her nose to his. He actually thought about kissing her but didn't wanna get slapped or something in front of his co-workers. “I don't know how I would  treat you different. I would treat you with respect.”

“Tell me what exactly it is I’m missing out on, Zeke?” She asked, arching a brow as she reached into her bra and pulled out her card. “I thought all this time I was getting comped the drinks. Please don’t tell me you’ve been paying for them?”

“Nothing. I just said that because I'm missing out on having the most beautiful human being I have ever laid eyes on. But seriously...when are you going to give me a chance?” Zeke smiled and shook his head as he watched her pull her card out. “You do...just today it's going to look like you aren't. My boss leaves soon.”

“You make that clear every single day of my life.” She said with a pleasant smile then busied herself with fixing her eyelash as she waited for him to replenish her drink. When it was given back, she took a long sip of it, grinning before choking on it and looking at him like he was an alien. “What?”

“I want to remind you that you're missing out. That is all.” Zeke chuckled and grabbed the rag next to him and started to wipe down the bar. “That will be $8.75 for your drink.” He leaned in closer. “My boss is here. Just give me a dollar. I got the rest.”

Dina glared at him and rolled her eyes. “Of course you would say that.” She sighed and sipped her drink, making a show of how empty it was. “Zeke, I’m dry.” She held the glass out.

Zeke smiled and shrugged,”I'm not ashamed of my feelings for you.” He realized how idiotic, and weird it sounded but it was the truth. That is what he told himself to make himself feel better about it. He looked down at the empty cup, and took it from Dina. He put it in with the other dirty cups, and grabbed a new one. Zeke made the drink of  Dina's choice, and put it in front of her. “$8.75.” He smiled. He rarely ever charged Dina but Lex was here tonight so he had to.

“No…no, you just keep taking your clothes off. It’s fine…I’m…I’m fine.” Sofie swallowed awkwardly as she tried to keep her eyes from staring at his naked chest.

“I can’t help it. Is it just me or is it like hot as fuck in here?” Bash sighed as he hated the feeling of being gross and sweaty. “Do you have a pool or something?”

“I am your brother, you could act like you give a shit to see me.” Jax said with his brows raised. “Besides, you completely skipped out on our birthday. The fuck was that?”

“I see you all the time, Jax. Why are you bein’ such a nancy boy all of a sudden?” Lex made a face and put another coin into the slot machine. “You already know I hate my birthday. Bloody hell.” He sighed loudly and waved over a server and ordered two beers. “Do you want me to apologize?”
