"Greetings queen." The spider monarch said, bowing as she approached. He had no particular affiliation with the Freljord, but he found that it was always good to be on the good side of people, especially rulers of countries.

The Queen rose to her feet, watching as the spider monarch approached. She offered him a soft smile and a slight bow of her head. “I do not think we have had the pleasure of meeting before.” Taking a few steps up to Elise she offers her hand in a polite gesture, her head slightly bowed. Just because she was the Queen didn’t mean she had to treat others as if they were lower than her. “Although Queen is my rightful title you may call me Ashe.”

He cocked his head at her, staring at her with bafflement. “Well… Alright, if my queen insists on it.” He said, smiling at her. “I’m afraid it’s not the smoothest of transformations, and quite grizzly, but i’m sure that my queen has seen much worse.” He said, closing his eyes as he hunched over, placing both hands on the ground, bending his feet, as if he was about to take off running.

His legs suddenly bent outwards, the sounds of bones snapping and reconstructing filling the air as his skin started to become a dirty black, red patterns appearing on his skin as he head grew smaller, eyes emerging on his forehead. His lower body bulged outwards, the spider legs that were on his back ripping out of his skin grotesquely and slamming down onto the ground, easily becoming 5 times their normal size.

After a moment the sound of bones cracking stopped, and the spider monarch clacked his mandibles, waving a spindly leg at the queen, his eyes shining. Unfortunately, his speech wasn’t very good in his spider form.

How did my queen.. find that display..?" He hissed at her, black beady eyes staring at her.

Ashe took a step back as he began to transform, her eyes widening at the sight. Although she wasn’t sure what she was expecting she definitely wasn’t expecting that. Her jaw dropped and a gasp left her throat at the sound of cracking bones. A sound she had only heard in the heat of battle. But in this smaller more intimate space it was all the more gruesome. Standing there in awe she let her eyes scan over his new spider body. Finding his small beady eyes a bit unnerving.

Clearing her throat she stood up a bit straighter and a smile casually formed across her lips. “Honestly? That was quite incredible. It wasn’t anything I would have ever expected.” Taking a few steps up to him she reached out her hand. “May I?” She questioned, not waiting for an answer as she reached out to touch one of his legs. “Incredible. You would be an incredible asset to me actually. But, does this transformation hurt? It seems like it would.” She circled around him to get a good look before stopping in front of him.

He shook his abdomen up at her, technically the same as shaking his butt at her, as she circled him. His jaws clacked at her. “It actually does not hurt… But for the first few times I changed into this form, the pain was excruciating.” He said matter of factly. “Kind of like being ripped apart and then being put back together again. I couldn’t move for a few minutes during the first time." He chuckled.

An incredible asset. Please my queen, you’ll make me blush." The spider said, as red markings appeared on his cheek, making it seem like he was blushing.

Rolling her eyes as he shook his abdomen she put her hands on her stomach and laughed wholeheartedly. "Even your cheeks turn red! Honestly, you are so amazing. The only thing I'm good at is shooting straight. But you can transform your body into something entirely different." She brushed her fingers against the light red markings on his cheeks and nodded to herself. "Well Elise. Welcome to the Freljord. I hope you enjoy your stay with us. You can stay in that form or change back to human for and I can show you where you will be staying here in my castle." She grinned, knowing that she was going to have to figure out exactly how she would be using him.

He looked at her, his grin faltering as she held such a polite tone with him. He hadn’t planned on being treated so equally. There was not a tone of pride in the woman’s voice, but rather it made him want to be by her side, to serve her and be deserving of her praise.

He bobbed his head towards her, taking her hand and shaking it. He suddenly felt incredibly insecure that her hands were rough and strong, due to her use of bow and arrow, while his own hands were soft and unscarred, making him seem like a pretty boy who didn’t like doing things himself.

"Alright then, miss Ashe." He said, nodding once again towards the frost archer. "I’ve actually come in uh, hopes of getting a job." He said sheepishly, before presenting a flyer to her, where it showed a picture of the woman herself pointing at the camera. Words screamed out, "want some cash and wanna be ice cool? Then sign up to be the queen’s body guard now!"

It was obviously fake, but he looked at her hopefully.

The archer paid no attention to how soft the boys hands were, only taking note that he was shocked at how she was treating him. A smile spread across her pale red lips, her icy blue eyes were warm as she surveyed him. "A job?" Her right eyebrow raised in curiosity as he presented a flyer to her.

Taking a quick glance at the flyer she had to resist the urge to laugh. Holding the paper between her fingers she examined it more closely. It was a photo of her pointing towards the camera, the words were bold in an attempt to jump off the page at the reader. The queen chuckled warmly and handed the flyer back to the spider monarch.

"Well if it is a job that you seek, I would be more than happy to offer it to you. Although that flyer is clearly fake, I enjoy a good laugh. But first, I have always been curious. Would you show me your spider form?" Her eyes held a childish glint to them. Wonder and excitement threatening to ruin her regal demnor.
