Here you go, first try at homemade toothpaste. Simple and cheap; ingredients: 12tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp hydrogen peroxide, 4 tbps coconut oil , 10-20 drops of essential oil and few travel bottles. (I used peppermint but you could also use clove or citrus pure essential oil). Simply warm the coconut oil until liquid and mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour it into your travel bottle and there you go! The hydrogen peroxide is used at a slight disinfectant/mouthwash and tastes foul however, the essential oil should mask that taste. If not I'll also post a recipe that uses vegetable glycerin and guar gum instead of the hydrogen peroxide. Enjoy :)
