              “i love you most,” he smiled and held xavier close, taking a few shaky breaths. “its okay, i forgive you. i appreciate it.. because i dont even really look at them, half the time i just respond and all im thinking is i cant wait until youre back. no one looks cute, everyone is black and white.. you’re all i see,” he promised him, looking back into the others brown eyes. “i love you. only you.”

               “not possible.” he whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to the other boy’s cheek. “thank god, because i don’t know what i would do if you hadn’t forgiven me.” he chuckled, digging his head into the crook of the other boy’s neck. “that was so cute.” he said, smiling widely at the boy’s words as he pulled away, staring at river with nothing but fondness in his eyes. “i feel the same way about you.”

“look, when emmett was a baby he ate too many carrots and he turned orange. i’m not into the jersey shore and i’d rather not look like a cheeto puff because i ate some carrots. i guess i’ll just fake eat the vegetables in front of her. i mean, she can’t tell the difference right? i don’t know.” and as mature as he was, noah stuck his tongue out, before smiling. yet that faltered as she made a mention of not being a kale. then his eyes widened. “shit, she’s technically illegitimate.”

“no fucking way, you’re lying. there is no way your brother turned orange.” she giggled, slapping his arm gently. “i’m gonna get you to eat vegetables somehow. there has to be something you like. i need you to get healthy. i need you to live a long time.” she whispered, leaning up to press her lips to noah’s. at the boy’s words her eyebrows furrowed, slightly confused, “what.... does that mean? is that bad?”
