Just had to jump on here because twitter is slowly dying a pretty ghastly death and I don’t like sharing anything on there any more, and the thing I wanted to share is the most 2014 me thing ever:

Despite EVERYTHING I need to be doing right now, I just spent all day kneading out the biggest burst of creative writing inspiration I’ve had in YEARS! Like I literally put down my fiction pen 3 years ago during the pandemic. And now this has been to the point where I haven’t been able to extract myself from the thoughts and the excitement of writing every bit down.

I have no idea where this jolt of inspiration came from (more like something clicked and allowed me to tie a lot of different thoughts together) but wow. It’s electrifying! A complete compulsion! Also actually tearing up thinking about what is essentially a head cannon - I’ve never felt that!

Anyway, just wanted to share, because I just essentially wrote a 3000 word treatment for a story, back to front, chapter by chapter.

So yeah, cool.

probably one of my favorite things about warcraft lore is there is really no solid explanation for orcs having an entire caste of expendable halfwits despite there not being any obvious signs of extreme economic or social disparity within clans

you just get assigned peon at birth and despite growing up in the same village and learning from the same elders you are damned to never comprehend whatever big brained poignant warrior poet soliloquy some hellscream or whatever is giving in the background while you stack boxes
