Gender Queer. She/her/hers or They/them/theirs. (either works.) What you can expect from my blog is anything related to: Layla Hamilton I like webcomics a lot. There's gonna be stuff related to webcomics.

do you ever cry because a black haired little boy wandered into your life when you were a kid and made you believe in magic and now many years later he’s still there with you and you just know you will stay at his side always no matter what because he’s just so important

Death to the rejection of asexual survivors of trauma. Death to this idea that asexuality should only be accepted if there’s no way of it being “worked through,” and the pervasive implication that having sex is part of a “fuller life”. If you don’t accept the asexuality of survivors who identify as asexual, you are useless to us. If you don’t accept the right of survivors to identify as asexual even if they didn’t identify as asexual prior to their trauma, you are useless to us. If you don’t accept the right of survivors to self-determine how to identify, you are useless to us. If you don’t accept the right of all people, including people who don’t identify as asexual, to refuse sex, you are useless to us. If you only accept the asexuality of people who are “asexual by nature” but withhold the same acceptance from people who you suspect “merely” have “some underlying trauma” or “reservation” (???), you are useless to us. Sex-repulsed survivors of trauma choosing to “work through those issues” is not something you should “hope for” as if it’s inherently better and the way things should be. Death to the idea that survivors’ first priority should be achieving the ideal of a Normal Sex LifeTM.

Reblogging this over here because HOLY FRIG THIS IS IMPORTANT.

This week, I presented the results of a year-long study me and my 100 colleagues have been working on. The 530-page report has been authored by 70 people, and concluded my concept is indeed likely a feasible and viable ocean cleanup technique. The conclusion has been peer reviewed by external experts. And because the now outdated plea by Mr. Stiv Wilson contains most arguments, I will hereby compare and contrast these arguments with what the research showed us.

Boyan Slat responds to his critics using the research he and his team have dedicated their lives to in order to further The Ocean Cleanup. I don’t know about anyone else, but I am feeling as though we are finally getting somewhere. Very proud of Mr. Slat and his team, I hope it moves forward with great success!

"It was on our feature list until not too long ago, but it’s a question of focus and production," Therien explained. "So we wanted to make sure we had the best experience for the character. A female character means that you have to redo a lot of animation, a lot of costumes [inaudible]. It would have doubled the work on those things. And I mean it’s something the team really wanted, but we had to make a decision… It’s unfortunate, but it’s a reality of game development."

this just in…Nintendo has announced it’s too hard modeling a second Mario brother. A second character means that you have to redo a lot of animation, a lot of costumes [inaudible]. Instead they’ll just be recoloring Mario green. It’s unfortunate, but it’s a reality of game development

"Naming and shaming Internet creeps is the latest development in a centuries-long tradition among women of using gossip as a form of solidarity and even a political weapon. It’s still true today – I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard a woman say about a man, ‘He’s a little bit creepy,’ or, even worse, ‘I wouldn’t want to be alone in a room with him.’ To the uninitiated, it might sound like lazy character assassination, but phrases like that serve as keywords for women meaning stay away."

jessieflux wrote an amazing article about women using gossip and “calling-out” to expose online predators and creeps. She asked me to contribute my story, and I was really grateful for an outlet to talk about my experience.

If you’re coping with harassment and you’re scared you have no options, read her article! And I want people who are coping with harassment to know that there are ways to fight back, and that there are people who will defend them if they decide to make the situation public. I’ve been amazed by the support I’ve received. If you ever need to, and you feel safe doing it, know that you’ll have a lot of support and a lot of sympathy if you out that fucker.

Yoshi’s Wooly World

I was very skeptical about this game when it was first announced.

But with the new trailer, I now realize that I need this in my life.

destroy tsundere. destroy tropes that reinforce the thought that no matter how much a woman says no and tells u to get away from her, deep down she actually really really does wanna fuck u

destroy, also, the idea that a woman telling u that she hates u and that u infuriate her is ~*~super cute and endearing~*~

stop reblogging this and tagging it with shit about how this is true for “tsunderes of any gender” u cannot look me square in the eye and tell me that the tsundere trope, and x-dere shit in general, is not about compartmentalizing WOMEN into easily digested fantasies and that tsundere specifically is not about invalidating a woman’s anger and lack of interest/consent
