so it turns out this is based on this image of albert einstein and I feel I need to share that

original theory: succubi are always women, incubi are always men 

facts: in fact succubus comes from the latin word “succubare” which means “to lie under” and incubus comes from the latin word “incubare” which means “to lie on”

new improved theory: incubi are always tops and succubi are always bottoms. gender doesn’t matter at all.

addendum: if the sex demon in question is versatile, they’re a concubus, from the latin for ‘to lie with/beside’.

I painted a copy of Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring for a class in college, and when I displayed it for review the professor was like, “Are you making a statement about materialism by not painting her wearing the actual earring?”

And that, kids, was the first time I ever cursed in front of a teacher.

The painting is called The Girl with the Pearl Earring, and I forgot. To paint. The damned. EARRING.

i know theres Disc Horse right now about people not drawing critrole characters “right” and most of its garbage but boy i really do hope people draw beau with darker skin since her official portrait has it

i know a lot of people arent looking at the official portraits and are making their own and that’s great!!!!! but if the official design has her with darker skin maybe we should all like……….. agree on that particular thing

like go crazy with the rest of her design!!!!! but do that while keeping her skin color darker

considerring how paper pale vox machina was in the official designs, it’s kind of nice seeing a pc who isn’t that :v
