Okay, I know this has been dead for a long time, but... what if... What if I made a Let’s Date Cow Chop: James Edition, where you specifically try to romance James? It would feature other characters, yes, but the first one would just be about him. It would have my (awful) art and those silly generic stock photos (because they’re funnier than me trying to draw backgrounds). I would eventually make an Aleks Edition and then more depending on who was chosen to have the next one, but I’d like to keep it SUPER SIMPLE because honestly my health has declined a lot since I tried to first make this game, so we’re sticking with one dateable character per “game.” So: who would want to play that? Is it worth it? Does anyone still care? P.S. Happy Valentine’s Day, here’s an eternal reminder to my shame.

Blog title change/news/whatevs

I’m sure most of you forgot about this project, formerly titled “Let’s Date the Creatures.” It has now been renamed “Let’s Date Cow Chop.” Why? Because the “characters” (people) I planned to focus on have left the Creatures and have moved on to their own channel and rather than replace them with people I don’t really feel like writing a story about, I decided just to change the title/group. I will wait to choose a third dating option for the game, but it will most likely be Intern Joe because he has also moved on from the Creatures.  Now, what does this mean for the previous versions of the game?  They will be left up for archive purposes. That means you can still find older versions if you dig through the blog, including versions with Sly. I have no plans to delete these versions unless one of the people portrayed in the games has a problem with me leaving them up, but so far those featured in it (save Aleks) have liked what they saw. This also means, unfortunately, that the whole game will have to be rewritten/recoded. To be honest, I didn’t have much of a story in mind before, but now that the boys are on their own, I feel like this game will take on a new form. There will be a new story, new sprites, ORIGINAL BACKGROUND ART HOLY SHIT (unless you guys like having shitty stock photos, I personally think it makes it funnier, let me know what you think), original music, the works. When can you expect the first version of “Let’s Date Cow Chop”, you may ask? I’m not sure. I have an abundance of free time but a major lack of motivation. However, with the release of the new channel, I’m starting to get my mojo back because James and Aleks were always my favorites and seeing them as a team again really excites me. I loved their 2014 streams (and no, not just the one that my game was in) and I’m so excited for what they have in store. I hope you will join me in supporting their new channel.  If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.  I will soon be redrawing the logo for the blog and updating the pages. I also plan on trying to draw the new sprites soon for the character page. Basically, the whole blog will be getting a facelift. Please check back in a few weeks or so. - Reese

Hello, blog owner here (posting from my new blog account). Just wondering, is anyone still interested in this game? I know it’s been a loooong time since there have been any updates. If there is still interest, I plan on replacing Seamus with Kootra/Jordan and making new character images.

So I have downloaded it and played it (Like many have) and right now, I was wondering if the farthest one can go is when the played goes to talk to one of the three creatures. Is it to go farther or is that all for now?

That's as far as it goes for now. I've written a little more but it will not be released until I've written a substantial amount of story, added some backgrounds, and put in the sprites. I may have a few people test it first, though.

LDTC Update! Version 1.3

What’s new in this version? Not much has changed, actually, except for one major change: the swapping out of Sly for Seamus! Now, when you go to the arcade, Seamus will be there instead of Sly. Also, there is an intro video! (Can’t remember if that was in the last update.) I’ll be working to see if I can up the quality of the video while keeping the file size down. I’m not quite sure why the file size of the game has pretty much doubled, but I’ll be rechecking files and making sure everything is in the right place. Choose your platform below for the latest download! Windows download Mac download As always, let me know if you encounter any errors that haven’t already been posted about! Again, the game “ends” after you see the Creatures’ panel.

I'm not sure why it would say that, I run on a virus-free machine (a Mac). Could be a problem with your operating system, maybe.
