TCAF is coming up this weekend at the Toronto Reference Library, and I'll be around! I won't have a table of my own, but I will be signing at the Silver Sprocket booth (153-154) on both Saturday and Sunday from noon to 1 pm.

I'll also be participating in two panels this weekend. The first is a presentation I'm giving on transmasculine comics at 2 pm on Saturday in the Discussion Room.

And then on Sunday at 1 pm I'll be on a trans cartoonist panel moderated by Cleopatria Peterson with Aria Villafranca, Morgan Sea, Leo Covault, and Beena Mistry in the Novella Room.

Since I'm not tabling proper l have a limited stock of my own books that I'll be carrying around, but if you see me at the show, don't hesitate to stop me and pick up something while you can! This includes O Human Star, Meal, Across a Field of Starlight, and the first issue of my Ghostbusters run.

in ur taskmaster/dunmeshi art, i can imagine that chilchuck would hate everything but win, while marcille would be so try hard and lose, and izutsumi would be a wild card bc she has the agility but shes also Cat, laois would somehow make the tasks monster focused, and senshi would ace anything involving food

This is a good one! I've really enjoyed going into the notes on the original piece and seeing everyone's predictions on how that hypothetical series would go.

Also, a general PSA: I don't reply to all the messages I receive on here, but I do read them! Thanks for writing.

Across a Field of Starlight by Blue Delliquanti

An epic sci-fi graphic novel romance between two non-binary characters as they find one another through time, distance, and war. An amazing story that explores the complexity of human nature and what brings us together.

When they were kids, Fassen’s fighter spaceship crash-landed on a planet that Lu’s survey force was exploring. It was a forbidden meeting between a kid from a war-focused resistance movement and a kid whose community and planet are dedicated to peace and secrecy.

Lu and Fassen are from different worlds and separate solar systems. But their friendship keeps them in each other’s orbit as they grow up. They stay in contact in secret as their communities are increasingly threatened by the omnipresent, ever-expanding empire.

As the empire begins a new attack against Fassen’s people--and discovers Lu’s in the process--the two of them have the chance to reunite at last. They finally are able to be together...but at what cost?

This beautifully illustrated graphic novel is an epic science fiction romance between two non-binary characters as they find one another through time, distance, and war.

Did you know that I wrote and drew a YA science fiction novel in 2022 called Across a Field of Starlight?

I finally (got help) slapping Wordpress into shape and Runaway to the Stars is now releasing as a public webcomic! Thank you so much for your support over the years, and sticking with me while I'm slowly chewing my way through this book. I'm very excited to share this story! It'll be updating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday thanks to the massive Patreon backlog. Patreon will continue to update as I finish pages, which happens on a sporadic non-schedule.

If you experience bugs with the site report them to me. Some things may occasionally break, as coding problems tend to be a very "whack-a-mole" affair; and I'm still getting used to the interface.

btw RttS is still contracted to a book publisher, I just got permission from them to share the comic online. This is beneficial for two reasons: it's functionally advertising for a printed book when the comic is complete, and also I am quite shallow and primarily motivated by attention so sharing pages makes pages happen faster 👍

This comic rules, and the worldbuilding and character development are some of my favorites in an ongoing comic. Definitely, definitely, definitely keep an eye on RttS.
