The inquiry in his tone is clear as he felt the other hold him close, hands fiddling about for where to rest before deciding on the teen’s back. Contact wasn’t usually initiated between the pair – minus the last scenario to which he still buries his face in his hands. So all he can do now is allow Noiz to hug him as long as he so pleased and then subject him to a question or two after.
He would never say it out loud, namely because he was convinced nobody wanted to hear it, but even he had moments of weakness like this. He’d grown accustomed to Ren being around and the recent absence made him feel uneasy. He buries his face in the other male’s shoulder, breathing in Ren’’s familiar, comforting scent.
