Michael

The darkest night

Never felt so bright

With you by my side

You never realised how much you meant to Michael until one day when you came home early from work. You let yourself into the house and dropped your bag on the floor. “She’s just amazing, you know?” You heard Michael say. You furrowed your eyebrows. Who was he talking to? Who was he talking about? You quietly moved closer to the living room where Michael was sat. “You think? You did pretty well, if you ask me.” You recognised that voice as Calum’s voice. “Yeah I know. It’s like no matter what happens, nothing can ever really be that bad as long as Y/N is there at the end of the day. She’s like the light that brightens up even the darkest days. She’s definitely something special.” You couldn’t help but grin. You and Michael had only been together for a few months but you’d never heard him say anything like that, not even to you. You carried on listening. “Sounds like someone’s fallen in love.” Calum chuckled. “I have, I do love her. I haven’t told her though in case she thinks I’m rushing things. This is too good to ruin and I don’t think I could take if she didn’t say it back to-” You couldn’t wait any longer, you burst into the living room and almost launched yourself at Michael, hugging him tightly. You kissed him quickly before whispering: “I love you too, by the way.”

Ashton

Love me like you did, love me like you did

I’ll give you anything, I’ll give you anything

You and Ashton had been split up for months now, ever since you’d found out he cheated on you while he was away on tour the previous year. He’d begged and pleaded for you not to go, giving you every excuse in the book that he though could have made you stay but you didn’t stay. You moved back to your parents place and tried to start your life again without Ash.

The night you had been waiting for for weeks had finally come, you and your friends were going out for drinks to celebrate your best friend getting a job at in her dream field of work, make up. There were ten of you all sat around a table necking shots when you felt eyes fall on you. You looked around the room but couldn’t find anything... but then you noticed. Ashton was looking at you from the bar. You sighed, why did he have to be there tonight of all nights? You shook your head and decided you weren’t going to let him spoil your night, you were there with your girls and nothing was going to ruin that for you.

The night seemed to go quickly and before you had time to register it, you were getting quite drunk. You were dragged on to the dance floor by your best friend to dance with her which you gladly agreed to do however half way through the song your friend got snatched away from you by a good looking man - tall, dark and handsome. You sighed and went to walk back to your other friends when you felt someone pull you over to them. Confused, you tried to work out who it was, quickly noticing it was Ashton. “What do you want, Ash?” You asked, it was obvious in your voice that you were drunk. “I just want to talk to you, can we go outside for a minute?” He asked, you sighed and nodded, too drunk to realise you didn’t really want to talk to him at all.

The two of you went outside and Ashton gave you his jacket as you were only wearing your dress. “So... speak.” You told him, he sighed and spoke. “Alright, I guess I just want to say sorry. I know you don’t care but being without you has been the hardest thing I have ever done. You’re my world and I was stupid to throw it all away. I’ll do anything to get you back, just name it I’ll do it and-” “Ashton stop.” You interrupted. “I don’t hate you, in fact quite the opposite. But we’re not getting back together. It’s not fair on either of us. It’s not fair on you because you’re too young to be tied down to just me. And it’s not fair on me because you’re never here. Just move on, Ash.” You smiled at him reassuringly. “But I-” “Move on, you’ll be happier in the long run. I promise.” You told him. He looked heart broken. “But we’ll still be friends right?” He asked. You nodded back at him and smiled. “Yeah, we’ll still be friends. I swear.”

Oh Gosh! Could you do Carry On but like a really sad depression/anxiety one? (Ps. ARENT THEY AMAZING LIVE)

*******TRIGGER WARNING******

Michael

One foot in the golden life

One foot in the gutter

So sick of the tug of war

It keeps pulling me under

You were very proud of Michael, for as long as you’d known him he had been determined. Him and his band were going to be playing for huge crowds, selling millions of records and living the big life. And he’d done, he was a superstar now. But with that came risks, people with money often feel untouchable, like nothing bad could ever happen. And if something bad did happen, it didn’t matter because they can buy their way out of it. Michael was the same, he felt invincible. He became friends with the wrong people and they had a bad influence on him. They promised they would show him the good side of the city but they hadn’t, they had used him and his naivety to rinse him of every penny he had. They gave him drugs. Not just cheap street drugs like weed. They gave him hard drugs; they gave him heroine, they gave him cocaine, they gave him meth, they gave him ecstasy. And he got hooked, he relied on it. Without it he couldn’t function.

“Y/N? Are you home?” You heard Michael call from downstairs. You were in the shower but you shouted back to let him know you were home. A few minutes later, as you stepped out of the shower, you heard some loud bangs and crashes. You knew what Michael was looking for, he was looking for his bank cards. You’d taken them out of his wallet that morning. You had tried everything you could think of, you had begged him to stop, you’d sent him to get help, you’d locked him in the house but he didn’t care about anything anymore. He would do anything to get another hit of anything he could get his hands on. Suddenly you heard a booming up the stairs. “Y/N!! Where the fuck are my bank cards!?” He yelled as he climbed the stairs, you weren’t giving in, not this time. “I took them.” You told him calmly, turning around to face him. He had a look of horror and anger on his face. “What do you mean you took them? You can’t take my fucking money! I need that!” He bellowed. “For what!? So you can go and get another hit? So you can put that crap in your body again and feel your version of normal!? No! I am not letting you go out and waste your life for these highs.” You yelled at him, frowning. You could see the fiery rage burning behind his eyes. He advanced towards you and your heart skipped at beat. You’d seen him punch his own best friend when he stood between Michael and his addiction. Was that it, was today finally the day he beat you up as well? “You better give me my fucking money. Now. You stupid bitch, or you’ll regret it.” You spat furiously. “No.” You said stubbornly. Before you had time to stay anything else you hit the ground, when you looked up you realised Michael had pushed you. He was stood over you with his fist raised above his head. You let out a scream of fear: “Michael please!” You cried as you covered your face. But the punch you were waiting on never came. Slowly you opened your eyes and saw Michael sat on the bed, head in his hands. His shoulders were shaking and you quickly realised he was crying. You got up and sat next to him. “I’m sorry, Y/N. I’m so sorry. I just don’t know what to do, I need it. It’s like air… Without it I feel like I’m going crazy. I keep trying to fight it for you… for us and it’s a constant tug of war. It just keeps pulling me under and I can’t help it.” You sighed. “It’s okay. We’re going to get you all the help we can, okay? You’ll be okay. We’ll be okay. But you need to promise me that you will delete those dealers numbers and you will not see them again.” He just nodded in reply. That was all you needed. The next day you started looking for rehab programs for Michael. It was going to be a long journey but you believed in him.

Ashton

It won’t be long, won’t be long, won’t be long

You know it’s gonna get better

You know it’s gonna get better

Ashton had been struggling in silence for years. He’d spoken a little bit about his past with depression and self harm but nobody knew the extent of it like you did. You knew that every day when he woke up he was battling with himself about whether or not he even had the motivation to get out of bed. You’d gotten used to him being this way and you knew what you needed to do to help him fight it and make it easier for him. However nobody and nothing could have prepared you for the call you were going to get that one day at work.

You had been working behind the makeup bar in a Sephora store like you did every day. You could feel your phone constantly vibrating in your pocket however you were not allowed to answer it. You looked up at the clock and it was five minutes until your lunch break so you slipped away to the staff room. You looked at your phone and saw you had 17 missed calls, most of them from Michael and a few from Calum. Deciding to call Michael back, you awaited his answer. When he answered he sounded panicked. “Y/N. I’ve been trying to call you for ages. You need to come to the hospital. Now! It’s Ashton, he’s not good. He tried to commit suicide this morning. You need to get here as soon as possible.” Michael explained before you could even get a word in. You felt your heart shatter. Without even saying goodbye to Michael you hung up and ran through the shop. “Where are you going?” Your manager asked, annoyed. “My boyfriend just tried to commit suicide, I’m sorry I have to go.” You said before leaving the store and jumping in your car.

When you arrived at the hospital you felt as though you were going to pass out. “Excuse me, I’m looking for Ashton Irwin?” “Excuse me, I need to find my boyfriend, Ashton.” Every single nurse and doctor you walked past you asked. Until you finally reached the desk, your face already glowing with damp tears, you could barely see through the tears in your eyes. A woman at the desk pointed you towards the right direction and you broke into a run, this couldn’t be it. Ashton couldn’t die now. You knew you’d reached the right place when you saw a heart broken Michael standing out in the hall, obviously waiting for you. “Y/N, you’re here he’s-” “Move.” You pushed past him and over to where two other tall boys were stood, watching over your boyfriend. You felt numb, you felt nothing. How could this have happened. You didn’t say a word, you didn’t cry. You just sat down on the chair next to his bed and held his cold hand in yours.

You stayed there all night, the nurses had tried to ask you to leave but when they saw the state of you they decided the rules didn’t matter. They had put Ash into a medically induced coma so they could pump his stomach and then at around 11am the next day the doctor told you that he was going to start bringing Ash back around. “He may take a few hours to wake up but when he does then press the red button to call us over and we will check him over. Okay? Our test results tell his his liver is under immense strain but he should be okay.” The doctor smiled.

An hour or so passed and Ashton hadn’t shown any sign of coming around. That was until you heard him groan. You watched him closely as his eyes flickered a little bit. “Come on Ash, wake up. I’ve been waiting for you…” You spoke softly as if that would help him some around. It took a long time but Ashton managed to bring himself back around, his head flopped over and he looked at you, smiling. “Hey baby.” He said with a rough voice. “Hey…” You smiled back as you pressed the button for the doctors to come. “How are you feeling?” You asked him. “I’m feeling… alive.” He grinned. “Good, I thought we’d lost you for a minute I was scared of-” “I’m sorry. I-I don’t know what happened, I just lost it.” He sighed, you could see he was feeling weak. “Don’t be sorry… You should have spoken to me if you were feeling down. You know I can help you.” He nodded. “I know.”

The weeks that came were difficult for both of you. Ashton was on a clear road to recovery and the lovely messages to you and Ash were overwhelming. The two of you looked around for places that could help Ashton deal with these feelings better. You were confident that Ashton was going to beat this, this time.

Luke

Carry on, outlast the ignorance

Moving on, survive the innocence

“Are you sure you want to come? Nobody will be angry if you don’t…” Luke asked for what felt like the hundredth time that evening. “Yes Luke, I’m sure.” You huffed. Luke knew better than anyone the extent of your social anxiety and he also knew how unpredictable it could be. Even you didn’t know when it was going to hit sometimes. You had been invited to join Luke and his band at the Grammy’s and you were beyond excited. However you knew that Luke was worried, he knew that you being in front of masses of cameras and fans was going to be difficult for you and he wasn’t sure if you would be able to deal with it or not.

The make-up and hair stylist that Luke had booked for you had just finished up when Luke got the message that the car with the rest of the boys inside was waiting outside for you both. You took one last look in the mirror and nodded before following Luke out the house and got in the car. All the boys commented on how good you looked which gave you a little gusto of confidence before you arrived at the mouth of the red carpet. Luke got out and helped you out. To say you were nervous would be an understatement but you were determined not to let your anxiety get the better of you today. As you hit the red carpet you were bombarded by the screams of 5sos fans who looked as though they had been there for hours. The boys dispersed and greeting different fans. You felt your heart racing, your eyes were darting around looking for somewhere that you could go to catch your breath a little bit but there was nowhere. Luke noticed that you were seeming very antsy so he walked over. “Are you okay? You want to go away from this?” He asked, placing his hands on your waist as he pulled you a little bit closer to him. You shook your head, you needed to get over this. “Look, baby. Just don’t worry about them. They love you, and if they don’t then they’re either very stupid, very jealous or very ignorant if they can’t accept how beautiful you are and how amazing you look. Okay?” You smiled and nodded at Luke, feeling your anxiety wear off a little bit. The rest of the red carpet was nerve racking and difficult for you but you made through and you couldn’t be more pleased with yourself for not giving in to your demons.

Calum

Carry on, let the good times roll

Sail on, let your path unfold

It won’t be long, won’t be long, won’t be long

You know it’s gonna get better

You had been going to university for three years now and you were studying to become a doctor and it was one of the hardest things you had ever done. If you weren’t in lectures, you were doing course work, if you weren’t doing course work you were working in a bar to help pay off your student debt. It was safe to say that it was all getting on top of you. You found yourself up at god knows what time in the morning doing your university work when you knew you had an early start the next morning then you would be so tired that you wouldn’t take in any information from the lectures you were in. You felt like you were in over your head.

It was around 4am and you were writing up a report which needed to be in the following week but you hadn’t even started it. You were working by the light of your desk lamp in your office, scribbling away notes from a text book about lacerations and blood clots. You weren’t aware how late it was until Calum knocked on the door. “Babe? Are you going to come to bed? It’s like four in the morning.” He asked, his voice groggy and tired. You didn’t even look up at him as you shook your head and continued to write notes down before beginning to type more of your report. “I can’t, I don’t have time. I need to get this done.” You said plainly as you stared at your computer screen, reading your work back to yourself. “Come on, you can finish it tomorrow. Please, you need to get some sleep tonight. You’ll make yourself sick…” He sighed. “Why do you need to finish it tonight? You’ve got a whole week.” He asked. You looked over at him with an annoyed face. “Because if I don’t do it today then I will get more work tomorrow to do and I won’t have time for it all. I’m already behind and I can’t afford to fall behind even more. If I get much more behind I’ll get kicked out of university, Calum.” You told him. “And I can’t get kicked out of university because then I have to sit there when everyone that ever doubted says ‘I told you so’” You continued, tears welling in your eyes due to a mixture of sadness, stress and tiredness.

Calum sighed again and moved to sit down with you. “If this stresses you out so much then maybe it isn’t the right thing for you. I’m not trying to say that I don’t think you can do it, because I do believe that you can… 100%. But I don’t want you making yourself sick over this, it’s not the end of the world if you decide this isn’t for you. And I’m going to support you, whatever you do in life.” He told you. You couldn’t help but smile. “And if you want to carry on going to university then don’t worry about your job or your loans. Leave them to me, you just focus on becoming the best doctor on the scene. Just hang in there, give it some time and I bet you it will get better… okay?” He smiled. You hugged him tightly. “How did I ever get so lucky to have someone as amazing as you in my life?”

Michael

You are my getaway

You are my favourite place

We put the world away

We get so disconnected

Michael was a busy person, between friends, recording, writing and performing, he had hardly any time in the day to be with you. You didn’t mind, you were a university so between working and completing your masters degree, you had just a little time as he did. You were lucky if you spent an evening together cuddling on the sofa together however when the opportunity came about, you didn’t ignore it.

You were writing up some notes when your phone went off next to you. You looked over at the caller ID and saw Michael’s name. You answered it and held your phone between your shoulder and your ear as you said hello. “Hey baby. I have good news. I have the evening off. If you’re free I thought we could get in bed with some snacks and watch a movie. I’ve missed our cuddles.” He chuckled. You grinned. “I am so up for that. I haven’t seen you in like a whole week, I’ve missed you.” You giggled. “Alright... Okay. Yeah I love you too. I’ll see you when you get here. Okay, bye.” And with that you hung up and continued to work on your notes.

The doorbell rang and you ran down the stairs, pulling the door open and flinging yourself at your boyfriend, your arms and legs wrapped tightly around him as he held you closely. He kept hold of you as he walked through the house, kicking the door shut and walking up the stairs. He only let go of you to drop you on the bed. He planted a soft kiss on your lips and chuckled. “Hello to you, too.” You giggled and crawled into bed. “Come cuddle me.” You pouted as you pulled the covers back to let him in. “On one conditions. We both just turn our phones off and just be the two of us. I’m sick of the outside world, I just want to be here with you right now.” You smiled, you loved that idea. So that’s what you did. Your phones went off and you spent the night laid in bed talking and watching movies, just enjoying being in each others arms.

Ashton

Hands around my waist

You’re counting up the hills across the sheets

Ashton had finished touring yesterday and for the first time in months, you had woken up with his arms around you. You couldn’t have been happier, you wanted to stay in that bed forever if it meant you never had to be away from him ever again. You felt him groan as he squirmed next to you, you looked over at him as his tired eyes fluttered open, a smile forming on his face as he saw you. “Morning baby.” The rasp of his voice was one of this things he’d missed the most since he had been away with his band.

“I need to get up soon, sweetheart.” You told him. “I have work today.” You pouted as you snuggled into Ashton’s side. He groaned and squeezed you tightly, pulling the sheets up over the two of you. “Do you really have to? I’ve been gone for so long, can’t you stay home for one day? I’ve barely even seen you.” He moaned, acting like a little child who had been told he couldn’t have a lollipop from the store. You looked at him and sighed. “No, I need to go. I’m already on the edge of getting fired.” You told him, he was upset but gave in.

Up you got. You walked over to your wardrobe and picked out your work clothes. You changed your bra and panties before pulling on your black, button up shirt and black jeans - you pulled your hair in a pony tail and decided you were ready to go to work. “Alright, baby. I’ve got to go.” You said to Ashton who was still in bed. You leaned down to kiss him but his grabbed your arm and pulled you down beside him. “Ashton please, I need to go.” You sighed, but Ashton knew how to get his way. He placed soft little kisses on your neck, causing your eyes to close slowly. You knew you were going to regret it but you gave in, pulling the covers over yourself and agreeing to spend the day with Ashton.

Luke

Tune out the static sound of the city that never sleeps

Here in the moment, on the dark side of the screen

You and Luke had gone on vacation to New York and every night the two of you would go out partying with a bunch of Luke’s celebrity friends. You were enjoying yourself but you couldn’t help feeling like Luke would rather go out and drink all night than spend time with you, after all you thought that was what you were there for, to spend time together.

As the two of you were getting ready to go out when you decided to ask Luke about it. “Hey, baby. Why don’t we just stay in tonight? We’ve been out every night and I’m sure your friends won’t miss you just for tonight...” You said, watching him carefully for his reaction. He looked confused and annoyed. “Babe, we’re in New York, why don’t you want to go out and enjoy it a little bit?” He asked, doing his hair in the mirror. “I just thought you would maybe want to spend some time with me? That’s all.” You heard Luke sigh. “You know what, if you want to stay here then stay here. I don’t care. I’m going out with my friends.” You were a bit shocked by Luke’s reaction. You sighed and shook your head, deciding not to go out with Luke.

Luke left and went out to drink with his friends and you laid in bed watching crappy rom-com movies to try and bury the sad feeling you had that Luke had only come away to party with his friends. You wanted to not care but you couldn’t help it, why didn’t Luke want to spend time with you? Was he going off of you?

The sound of the door opening made you jump, you didn’t look over, you pretended to be asleep. It was Luke. He looked at you, sighing and getting undressed into his boxers before climbing into bed and wrapping his arms around you. “I thought you wanted to go out?” You asked, making Luke jump a little. “I thought you were asleep... I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to be nasty earlier. I thought I wanted to go out but I guess I didn’t. I couldn’t enjoy myself without you there. I’m sorry for being such and asshole.” He said quietly as you turned around to his face him, smiling a little. “It’s okay. I’m glad you came back, I could use a cuddle right now.” “Well, it’s your lucky day because I give the best cuddles.” He chuckled, the two of you quickly fell asleep together.

Calum

I like the summer rain

I like the sounds you make

We put the world away

We get so disconnected

You and Calum were suckers for spending time alone together instead of doing things you’re meant to be doing. You’d been fired from your job for taking so many sick days to spend time with Calum but you didn’t care, you hardly got to see him when he worked so you took every opportunity to spend time with him.

Calum finally had a day off so you let him sleep in while you went downstairs to make him some breakfast for him to wake to. You were stood over the frying pan, shaking your booty to Usher which you had playing through the radio. You sang along quietly as you dished up some bacon and checked the eggs you were boiling. You were just starting on some grilled mushrooms when you heard a laugh from the doorway, you looked at the doorway and saw Calum, smirking. “You’re something else, girl. You know that? Even when you’re dancing over breakfast, you’re still perfect.” He smiled, walking over to you and kissing you softly. “This looks amazing as well by the way.”

After breakfast you went upstairs to shower and get changed. “You’re not going out today, are you?” Calum asked as you walked out of the bathroom after your shower. “I was going to run some errands.” You told him. “Can you do it tomorrow? This is the only day I have off for ages.” He asked, pulling his clothes on. “Well... I could but I would rather get it done. There will be more days for us to spend together.” “Please?” He asked, pouting. You sighed. “Fine, I’ll stay home.”

The two of you did some catching up of your favourite shows while you cuddled on the sofa. “Isn’t that sound beautiful?” You looked at Calum confused. “The rain, doesn’t it sound amazing?” He asked again. You smiled and nodded. “Yeah it does... Not as beautiful as you though.” You replied, you loved it when Calum sang. You were always mesmerised by it every time he sang to you.

18: Permanent Vacation

Michael Clifford

Frustration, desperation

You say I need some kind of medication

Situation, no motivation

Destination, permanent vacation

Michael was a wild one, he’d been your best friend for as long as you could remember. But Mikey had always had a problem with authority, he hated being told what to and he hated even more when people tried to punish him. His parents had tried everything, they’d taken him to doctors, specialists, put him on all kinds of medication to help try and calm him down and curb his reckless behaviour however nothing seemed to work.

You were sat in detention after being caught skipping class when Michael walked in. The boy spent his life in detention. “Hey pal. What you here for this time?” You asked, not looking up from your notebook where you were writing history notes out. He scoffed a little as he sat on one of the desks. “I called Mr Covill a retarded fucking asshat. And apparently he didn’t care for it too much.” He chuckled, like getting in trouble every day was funny to him. You didn’t understand it. You weren’t an angel but he would go out of his way to get himself in trouble.

“Michael? Why do you feel the need to get yourself in trouble every single day? You don’t achieve anything.” You asked, for the first time ever. Michael looked at you with a trivial look then replied. “Well, I guess it’s my way of sticking it to the man. I just hate people thinking they’re bigger and better than me. I do what I want to do and what makes me happy. I don’t give a flying fuck what anybody else has to say about it. Plus, it gives me a bit of an adrenaline rush.” He chuckled. You sighed and shook your head, he was never going to change and everyone knew it. He was always going to be causing trouble.

Ashton

Hung up and mis-educated

I say 9 - 5 is overrated

And we all fall down

“Ashton, the boss wants you in his office.” Said a boy who looked a bit shaken up. Ash’s boss had been giving end of month reports and it appeared that the boy hadn’t had a very good one. Sighing in annoyance, Ashton walked himself into his bosses office, slouching into the chair and looking at the stout man who sat in his big chair before Ashton.

“So, boy. It appears you haven’t done too well, have you? Let’s see: ‘Rude to customers’, ‘slacking in customer servicing’, ‘unorganised’... Need I go on? You’re lucky you still work here. I hate to say it but you aren’t cut out for this position. Why don’t you come back when you’ve grown up a bit.” The boss said harshly. This made Ashton’s blood boil. “You know what? No. I will not come back, and I don’t need to fucking grow up! You are a self-conceited asshole and I hope it comes back to bite you on the ass you dick!” Ashton yelled as he pointed his finger in his bosses face. He picked up the small wooden chair he’d been sat on and thrown it against the wall. “Do me a favour and drop dead, you fucking asshole.” He spat before slamming the door behind himself.

As he walked through the video store he pushed a rack over, causing DVD’s to spread across the floor. “And fuck you all as well, you’re all pieces of shit!” He yelled, kicking another rack over. He left quickly, standing outside trying to catch his breath. As he stood there, he felt a wash of relief over him. Like he’d been waiting to let that out, like he’d finally found who he really was. He hated working in a boring, dead end job. He realised that he wanted more. From that day he walked with a spring in his step, knowing he was never going to waste his time in a place like that again.

(There’s not that much to write about this one, I’m sorry!)

Michael:

Everybody’s got their demons

Even wide away or dreaming

I’m the one who ends up leaving

Make it okay.

You and Michael had been together for years, you’d been friends forlonger. But recently he wasn’t right. He was going out every night by himselfand not coming back until the early hours of the morning completely wasted, andwhen he wasn’t drinking alone he would lock himself away and tell you he waswriting music. He could’ve written four more albums in the time he’d spent‘writing’. But the moment you really realised something was wrong was when youcame home to see five suitcases packed next to the door. “Michael?” You calledout, hearing bustling upstairs. You followed the sounds and when you reachedthe source you realised it was Michael frantically clearing his drawers outinto a box. “What are you doing?” You asked, walking closer to him. He didn’tanswer which made you angry, if he was going to leave he could at least havethe decency to tell you. “I said where are you going!?” You asked louder, storming over to him and pulling his shoulder to make him look you in the eye. When he turned around you felt as though your heart had shattered in yourchest. Michael’s face was damp with tears he’d obviously been crying for a longtime. His eyes were bloodshot and looked very sore. His hands were shaking andhis breath was wavering through his quiet sobs. He looked like a broken man. “I’mso sorry. I can’t do this anymore, I can’t keep hurting you. I’m not the sameanymore, I’m fucked up. You deserve better just let me leave so you can behappy again.” How could he say these things? “What are you talking about? Youthink just because you’re not right that I’m going to be happier without you?You must be crazy.” You sat down next to him, pulling him on to you andwrapping your arms around him tightly as you cried softly. “You are so stupidsometimes. No matter what we’re in this together, okay? You are my everythingand I will always be here for you.” The two of you spent the rest of theevening unpacking Michael’s bags and talking about things you can do to helpMichael on his road to recovery from his dark patch.

Ashton:

Let’s forget who we are

And dive into the dark

As we burst into colour

Returning to life

You’d met Ashton at a house party that you’d been dragged to by yourfriends. After residing to sitting on the sofa away from the commotion you’dbeen approached by a boy who couldn’t have been much older than you, he wascharming and good looking. You had a strange amount in common, you both lovedmusic and played instruments.

“Wow it’s boring here.” You chuckled, earning a chuckle from Ashton. “You’reright… Do you want to go somewhere? Go for a drive?” He asked, you were a bittaken aback, you didn’t know this boy and suddenly you were going to jump in acar with him? But you thought about it and decided you would rather be in a carwith Ashton than stuck at this party any longer so you agreed to go, slidingout of the place before anyone realised you were leaving. You got into Ashton’spick up and off you drove. “I’ve got somewhere really beautiful to show you…”He told you as you turned the radio on.

When Ashton’s car came to a stop you looked around and realised youwere in the hills looking over Sydney as it was lit up in the dark of thenight. He got out of the car and sat on the bonnet, you followed him, sittingnext to him and resting your head on his shoulder. “This place is amazing…” Yousaid quietly, he nodded in reply. “I never bring anyone here, only people who Ithink are very special.” He told you, you smiled and watched him as he got upand turned the radio up before holding a hand out to you. “Dance with me?” Heasked. You were looking a bit reluctant, replying with a quiet “no thank you.” “Comeon, let’s just forget who we are for a little while and just enjoy ourselves…please?” He asked, his hand still extended to you. Sighing, you gave in andtook his hand as you stood up. The two of you dancing slowly together, yourhead resting against his shoulder as you swayed back and forth. After a fewminutes, as if a magnetic was pulling you towards him, you looked up at him.Your heart began to beat very hard in your chest as you slowly pressed yourlips on his. From the moment your lips touched it was like fireworks were goingoff deep inside you, like everything around you had burst into colour, everything was perfect in that moment.

As you parted again there was silence, this silence lasted for whatfelt like an eternity. “So… I would like to get to know you better.” Within afew weeks the two of you were an item and you’d never been happier.

Luke

‘Cause I’ve got a jet blackheart

And there’s a hurricaneunderneath it

Trying to keep us apart

Luke was toxic, he was heartless. He was thoughtless, rude and mean to anyone that stood in his way. He seemed a very angry person. However with you he was different, he was kind and soft. He’d always been that way around you. As if there was something deep inside him that told him you were more to him than what you realised. You loved him to pieces but you hated the person he’d become, you hated when he fought with people and when he bullied people. You’d tried to stop him but he never listened. That was until one day.

You walked out of your class to see your boyfriend with a kid held against the locker. “You don’t ever fucking look at me like that again, you understand me, kid? Or you’ll be wishing you were never born!” Luke spat at him, the boy in tears from fear of Luke beating him up. Anger washing over you, you stormed over to Luke. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” You yelled as you ripped Luke’s hands off the boy and let him scurry away. “I told you that you need to stop doing this! You are mean and you’re a bully, Luke Hemmings. I told you that if you didn’t stop then we were through so I guess you don’t care about being with me that much. Do you?” You said angrily, holding back tears as you watched his heart break in his eyes. You had to walk off before you got too upset. The thing that broke your heart the most was that he didn’t fight for you, he didn’t follow you, he didn’t say a word.

The next few days were miserable for you, you felt alone and even seeing Luke in the halls was like a punch to the stomach. Your only way of getting out your emotions was to play the piano, that was all you knew. So that was what you did. Every lunch you would go to your schools concert hall and played. You played your heart out until you were interrupted by a loud clap from someone at the back. You squinted to try and see who it was and, as if a ghost coming from the shadows, Luke appeared and walked down the aisle towards you on the stage. “That was beautiful. As always.” He spoke softly as he walked up the stairs. “Thank you.” You responded quietly. “Look… Y/N. I’m sorry. I’m sorry I didn’t listen to you. I know I act like kind of an ass sometimes but I don’t what it is, I can’t help it. It’s like there’s something in the universe trying to keep us apart and no matter how much I try to fight it I can’t.” He said “I know I can never make this up to you but I promise if you give me another chance I’ll change. For good.” He pleaded. You sat in silence, looking at him as his eyes looked to the ground. You could see the guilt and the sadness on his face. “I’m not angry at you. You know I love you and you know I don’t want to have to be without you but I can’t be the girlfriend of the bully anymore. How about we give it another go. If you can stick to your promise and change, stop being so mean, that is.” You smiled as you stood up, smiling a little bit. He grinned at you and pulled you into hug, kissing you softly. “I promise you, I’ll be your prince and more.” He smiled softly.

Calum

Now I’m holding on for dear life

There’s no way that we can rewind

Maybe there’s nothing after midnight

That could make you stay

Calum had fucked up. A lot. He’d taken drugs, cheated on you and left you at home by yourself night after night but you never left him. He treated you like crap but never did you leave his side. You had no idea why, all he did was break your heart but you could never bring yourself to walk out the door.

As if you had deja vu, Calum stumbled through the door. Very drunk and very high. You walked down the stairs in your dressing gown and looked at him as he took off your jacket. “What are you doing up?” He slurred when his eyes caught you. “I’ve been waiting for you.” You walked towards him, the smell of perfume wafting towards you. “I’ve been waiting hours. But what do you care? You would rather go out all night and mess around with dumb girls at the club, snorting cocaine of the counters in the toilets. You are not the Calum I fell in love with and I’m sick of sitting at home wondering if today is the day you don’t come back. I’m sick of being second best to you, behind everything else you want to do. If this was the life you wanted then you could have told me before I went through all of this pain that you have caused.” You told him as tears streamed down your face. “So I’m going back to my parents place. Don’t contact me. I’ll be back in the next few days to pick up my things.” And that night you left, he didn’t see you again for weeks.

The strange thing was that for the first time in months, Calum’s name didn’t appear in the recent news once. No “5 Seconds of Summer Bassist Calum Hood caught leaving club with a model on his arm” or “Calum Hood seen with power around his nose” no mention of it at all. You began to worry however you didn’t contact him, you stuck to your word. That was until one day when you got a call from Michael.

“Hey, Y/N. It’s Mikey. Look, I know you and Calum broke up and you’re still mad but please talk to him. He’s a mess, he hasn’t left the house for weeks and when we go over there he looks awful. He looks like he hasn’t showered for weeks and he won’t talk to us. He’s broken.” You felt your heart shatter. “I understand if you don’t want to but we’re scared he’s going to so something stupid. We miss the old Calum.” He sighed, you could tell how worried he was. You agreed to talk to Calum.

You turned up at the house where Calum lived and knocked on the door. No answer. So you pulled out your house key and let yourself in. You made a B-Line for the bedroom and climbed the stairs quietly before being stopped in your tracks by a sound that made you feel as if your heart had broken a thousand times. Calum was crying, not just crying but sobbing. You finished your journey up the stairs and knocked on the door, making Calum jump as he looked at the door. “Y/N? What are you doing here?” He asked, wiping his eyes. “Michael told me you were still down about the break up. He said you haven’t come out for weeks, you haven’t showered, you’ve barely eaten.” You told him as you walked in and sat on the bed. “I just don’t know what to do without you…” Calum said quietly. “I was stupid and I let you slip away. I know you’ll probably never take me back but I appreciate you worrying.” You sighed and hugged Calum tightly. “These have been the hardest weeks of my life, not being with you. You hurt me. You hurt me a lot. But I’m not saying I love you any less.” You told him “Please just let me make it up to you, I’ll change.” You didn’t say anything, you just kicked your shoes off and laid down next to Calum, pulling him into your arms, kissing the top of his head. He spent the rest of the day crying and apologising to you. It wasn’t going to be easy but you and Calum would be okay, you knew it.

Will you make a 2 part to calum stopping the wedding?

Word Count: 486

You can request a part three if you wish :)

Calum fell into silenced shock, not sure what to say. “How far gone?” Heasked, you could tell his brain was ticking away. “Only 14 weeks but why doesthat even matt-“ “Marry me instead.” He interrupted. You looked at him as if hewas insane. “What do you mean marry you? Are you crazy?” You whispered harshly.“Look, Y/N. I know it sounds crazy but I have loved you for as long as I canremember and I don’t know if you feel the same way but I won’t be able to livewith myself knowing that you’re shackled to that waste of space piece of trashso please just marry me instead of him. Your parents will be none the wiserthat the baby isn’t mine, nobody needs to know.” He took your hands in his, looking at you with a pleading look. You sighed, unsure of what to say becauseyou hated this guy nearly as much as Calum did. “O-Okay.” You said so quietlyit was barely even audible.

You poked your head out of the room and called for Michael. He quicklygot up and shuffled past the people he was sat with to join the two of you inthe backroom. “What the hell is going on? You have a roomful of people waitingout there!” Michael hissed angrily. “Let me explain. Her fiancé is a pig, she’spregnant and we’re getting married.” Calum said, dragging everything you’ddiscussed into three simple points. Michael couldn’t speak, he was left is awe.He couldn’t comprehend what Calum had just said. “Look, Mikey. I know she’syour sister and everything but I’ve told you how I feel about her and I can’tsit around while she’s getting shackled to a no-good piece of shit like him. Hecheated on her last night and I can’t let her keep getting her heart broken. You have to understand that. And I know your parents won’t be too pleased ifshe’s not married when this baby is born.”

Michael’s face slowly changed as Calum spoke, as if he could understandeverything for the first time. All he could do was nod. One simple gesture thatput all your worries to sleep. “I’ll fix this, you two just go. Okay?” Michaelsaid, earning nods from you both as you left out a back door. Michael walkedback out and faced the crowd. “I’m really sorry to be the bearer of bad newsbut my sister has decided she doesn’t want to be married to a disgusting pieceof trash that is her current fiancé. He has cheated on her more than once, constantly puts her down and makes a fool of her in front of his friends. Nowif everyone could kindly vacate the premises that would be splendid.” He saidwith a bittersweet smile before walking out of the chapel and waiting for yourfamily.

Hey, can u make one imagine which your boyfriend is abusive and ashton rescues you and takes care of you and end up kissing you? Thank you!

TRIGGER WARNING: ABUSE AND SWEARING

“Oh no it’s fine, I really should be getting home anyway.” You smiled asyou stood up, pulling on your coat. You’d been out for coffee with Ashton butyou’d told Jason, your boyfriend, that you’d gone shopping with your friendsand that you would be back at 2:00pm and you’d lost track of time leaving youwith less than 10 minutes to get home. “Are you sure you don’t want a lifthome? I don’t mind.” Ashton offered once again but you politely declined andbegan your walk home.

You felt your heart beating rapidly as you walked up to the front doorof your house, wondering whether Jason would flip his lid at you for being lateor whether he’d had so much to drink that he’d passed out on the sofa. Slowly, you pushed your key into the lock and turned it, opening the door cautiously -looking around at the living room door and the stairs. After realising you hada clear path to the stairs you gently put your bag and keys down before makinga swift move to the stairs but as you were walking up the stairs you heard asentence that brought a chill to your spine. “Do you know what time it is?”

Hesitantly you turned around to see a very wound up Jason stood in theliving room door, his arms folding across his chest. His whole stature andexpression was very standoffish which caused your heart to almost beat out ofyour chest. “I- Me and the girls were just having so much fun. I just losttrack of time, that’s all.” You faked a smile to try and cover up your fear. “Well, you see, I couldn’t get hold of your phone so I called one of your friends…Just to see where you were. And the funny thing is…” He scoffed, faking anintimidating chuckle. “She told me she hadn’t seen you all day. Now either she’sgone insane or you’ve been lying to me.” His expression became more and more furiousas he proceeded towards you.

“I-I-“ Before you could speak he grabbed your head, pulling your headbackwards. “You know, I don’t like being lied to. So where were you?” He asked, his tone soft but powerful. “I was shopping. I went shopping! The girls werebusy so I went by myself.” You cried out before feeling his force push you tothe ground, you let out a yelp as your body hit the ground with a loud thud.Tears started streaming down your face as you felt your rub cage burn withpain. “I said don’t lie to me! Where were you!?” He yelled, standing over youlike a cat over a mouse. You didn’t answer. You couldn’t, you couldn’t thinkstraight from the adrenaline rushing through your body. “Answer me!” “Okay! Iwent for coffee.” You sobbed, flinching as he raised his hand. You couldn’ttell him you were with Ashton. Jason had thought you and Ashton were a thingfrom the start, the first time he hit you was because you told him you’d goneto lunch with Ash. “With who? You obviously didn’t go for coffee for two hoursby yourself now, did you?” He asked, his voice filled with venom.

Suddenly, as if from nowhere, you had a spout of energy. You sprang yourleg up from the ground, hitting Jason right in his manhood. As he fell to theground that was your opportunity to run. So you did. Up the stairs and intoyour bedroom, pulling your phone out and dialling Ashton. You shut your bedroomdoor and blocked it with a chair. Before Ashton even picked up the phone Jasonwas banging on the door. “Let me in you stupid slut!” He yelled angrily fromthe other side of the door. “Hey, Y/N. What’s up?” Ashton answered as if nothingwas wrong. “Ash help me please.” You sobbed down the phone. “It’s Jason he’sgoing to kill me. I’m locked in my bedroom and he’s banging on the door and-“ “YeahI can hear him. Look, sit tight, alright? I’ll be there as quickly as I can.”And with that he hung up the phone. You stuffed your phone back in your pocketsand dipped into the attached bathroom, locking the door for some extraprotection. You could hear Jason throwing his weight against the door but itwasn’t getting him very far. You just covered your ears and hoped for it all tobe over one way or another.

After a few minutes the banging stopped; confused, you opened thebathroom window and saw Ash’s car with Ash inside it. After a moments thoughtyou emerged from the bathroom and took the desk chair from the bedroom door. You could hear muffled voices at this point so you poked your head out of thebedroom, upon realising Jason was nowhere to be seen, you walked downstairs. There, stood in the hallway was Ashton, in the middle of a screaming match withJason then as if out of nowhere; Ashton punched Jason. It didn’t do much morethan piss him off. “What are you going to do? Punch me? Because I wouldn’t pissme off any more than you already have. I can walk out of this door and go tothe police. And do you know what they’ll do? They’ll arrest you for abuse. Nowif you let me walk out of this house right now with Y/N, there will be nothingmore said about it. We’ll up and move on, just forget about it.” Ashton spokecalmly but assertively and it was as if Ashton had spoken to his soul. Jason’sfists dropped. “Fine, take her. But if I hear another fucking word about it.You’ll be dead in a gutter, you hear me?”

With that, Ashton drove off with you in the passenger seat. Most of thedrive was quiet before Ashton spoke up. “How come you never told me this wasgoing on? I could’ve helped you a long time ago.” He said softly. “I wasembarrassed. Embarrassed that I was weak and vulnerable enough to let him… beatme.” You replied, tears welling up in your eyes. “And I was scared that if hefound out I’d told someone… That he would kill me.” The silence fell over thecar once again. Ashton pulled up at his house, opening your door and helpingyou inside. Since the adrenaline had worn off you’d found your ribs in intensepain. “Please let me take you to a doctor. You could’ve broken something.” Ashsighed. He knew you didn’t want to go because you didn’t want to tell thedoctors about what happened. “You can just lie. I’ll lie for you, I just wantto know you’re okay.” You knew he was right. You could just lie, so youbegrudgingly agreed to go.

After finding out you’d broken one rib and cracked two others you wereordered by the doctor to rest, avoid too much walking around. Once Ash got youback home he helped you change into something comfortable and get into bed. Hegave you his bed so you could watch TV and be as close to the bathroom aspossible. “There you go. Now just text me or call me if you want anything, okay?” He smiled softly before kissing your forehead and walking away. “Ash…Wait.” You sighed. “C-Can you sit with me for a while?” You asked, he noddedand climbed on to the bed carefully to avoid hurting you. The two of youchatted for a while then watched a movie, during the movie you found yourselfleaning into Ash with your head resting on his shoulder. “You comfy there?” Heasked, chuckling. “Oh sorry, do you want me to move.” You asked, looking up.Your face was inches away from his. “No…” He said quietly, his voice trailedoff as if he lost interest in what he was saying. Before you had time to thinkyou pressed your lips on his, his hand slowly moving to your face and rubbingyour cheek with his thumb. You pulled away quickly. “I am so sorry. I just- Idon’t know I guess I just-“ “Hey. You don’t need to apologise. I’ve wanted todo that for longer than I can remember.” He smiled reassuringly. He knew thatif this was going to work it would be slow but he was willing to wait for youforever.
