what if . . . i came back and redid a ton of my icons?

okay but like what if... what if i came back?

“Well you better start, because you definitely are. I would know, I’m an expert on cute.” Nagi booped Ai’s nose before he retracted his hand. “But don’t worry you’re also still handsome as well. Stuff can be two things.” Just like how Nagi could be super cute and extra cute at the same time!
“ I guess that is true. “ though it would be strange to think of himself as cute. ai couldn’t quite grasp how he could be considered such a way but if nagi found him to be cute then he wouldn’t argue. after all, natsuki seemed to do the same as well. if more than one person found him cute ai supposed he must be cute in some regard.
nagi :
“Yeah I guess it is.” Nagi answered back, suddenly with a smile. It was clear that over the years Ai had learned exactly how to reply to Nagi to satisfy him. Not that Nagi was very complicated to begin with… “You know Ai, you’re pretty cute too. Which isn’t something that I normally let other people get away with around me. But especially when you smile at me or get a little bit annoyed.” Nagi reached up to poke Ai’s cheek in an attempt to prove a point. “I think it’s super super cute.” Which is exactly why Nagi found it so fun to push his boyfriend’s literal and metaphorical buttons.
NAGI was definitely an interesting individual to say the least. it was quite unbelievable how quickly ai had found a way to love nagi and cherish him in ways he wouldn’t do anyone else. to think nagi was initially someone who annoyed ai to no end and now he became someone ai could learn to love. he certainly had a charm about him and ai wouldn’t be one to refuse that. “ am i? i’ve never thought of myself as cute. “

Nagi always loved a good head pat, especially from the most handsome guy he knew. “Well that’s good I guess.” The idol replied. At least Ai checked his instagram… there were some top tier selfies on there. “If you ever said I wasn’t cute I’d hide your charging cables and never tell you where they were.” He was kidding. …sort of.
“ I suppose it is a good thing i view you as cute then. “ he didn’t quite like the idea of any of his cables or whatnot being hidden on him, but ai figured nagi wasn’t completely serious with that statement. either way, if he was ai was most certain he would be able to find those cables again. nagi could be a little predictable with hiding spots at the very least.

“Yeah but I just had to make sure.” Nagi explained. “Don’t you ever look at my instagram when you haven’t seen me for a while just to make sure I didn’t get cuter without you noticing?” Nagi thought this stuff was Boyfriends 101 but maybe Ai was a little behind…
“ I check your instagram but only as a means to see pictures of you when i cannot see you in person. “ he liked to keep himself up-to-date with nagi’s life when he was too busy to be a part of it. after a small sigh and a shake of his head, ai extended a hand to pat nagi on the top of the head. “ you’re always going to be cute to me. “ he wouldn’t say it out loud, but ai would admit there was a charm to nagi’s stupidity at times.

GASP! Nagi side stepped to gain access to the booty. He reached up a hand and quickly placed it on Ai’s butt for a total of 3 seconds before he pulled it away, too embarrassed to keep it there any longer. “Okay that’s all I wanted.”
“I had to make sure you hadn’t gotten any upgrades that I didn’t know about….”
THERE were times ai didn’t understand his boyfriend and this was one of those times. he could never grasp the fascination with his rear end let alone the desire to want to touch it so badly. regardless ai just waited patiently for those three seconds to be over.
“ i highly doubt i would get an upgrade that would change my physical appearance too much. “

“I… I was wondering if I could um…” Nagi shifted where he stood, alternating his weight from his left to his right foot. “If I could….”
”T-TOUCH YOUR BUTT!!!”
HE should have known. of course nagi wanted that of all things. why would ai be surprised? with a reluctant sigh he replied. “ fine. only for a little bit. “

Nagi’s cheeks flushed pink now that Ai was so close. “You’re welcome.” He replied as a warm fuzzy feeling washed over his whole body. That’s the effect Ai had on him though, it was only a matter of time when Ai was around. “So um… I was wondering something….”
“ HM...? what is that? “ ai tilted his head to the side, curious as of to what nagi could be thinking. oft times he tried his best to understand his boyfriend, but there was an air of unpredictable thinking that came along with nagi. ai was accustomed to not fully being able to figure out where things were going, but that was something he grew to love about nagi.

“Yep! Just like that.” Nagi stared at Ai for a moment with a wide smile on his face. Ai was so pretty… it wasn’t fair to every other person in the entire world… He almost forgot what he was doing before he suddenly snapped back into reality. Present! Right! He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small phone charm. It was a simple design shaped like a pink and blue swirled cotton candy. He didn’t know if Ai would use it (in fact he doubted Ai would) but he had seen it and though of his boyfriend, and that impulse was enough to buy it.
Nagi placed it in his boyfriend’s open palm with a quick: “Keep your eyes closed.” Nagi’s fingers brushed against Ai’s palm and he hesitated for half a second before standing on the tips of his toes to brush his lips across the android’s in a quick kiss. His feed landed back on the floor.
“It… it was a two part gift.” He mumbled, slightly bashful after kissing an angel.
AI waited there as he felt something placed in the palm of his open hand. nagi told him to remain with his eyes closed for the time being so he would comply with his boyfriend’s orders until he was told he could open them once again. as he waited he felt the other’s lips against his for a brief moment before nagi would speak again. taking that as a signal to open his eyes yet again, ai glanced down at the charm in his hand. it was quite cute to say the least. he wasn’t sure if he would use it on his own phone, but perhaps he could find some place to display it at the very least.
after a moment of silence, a small smile formed on ai’s lips, closing the hand with the charm in it and placing it in his pocket for safe keeping before leaning forward to give nagi a brief peck on the lips of his own. with a soft voice just loud enough for the other to hear, ai replied. “ thank you. i love it. “

“Good, if it was any less I’d be mad at you.” Nagi squeezed Ai tighter for another moment before relaxing his arms so he could look up at his boyfriend.
“I got you a present while I was gone! Close your eyes and open your hand.”
“ A present? “ ai raised a brow and cocked his head to the side. just what did he get him? regardless, ai did as nagi requested and closed his eyes and opened his hand. “ like this? “

Nuzzle, nuzzle, nuzzle… Nagi rubbed his face in the crook of Ai’s neck like his life depended on it.
“How much did you miss me?”
“ MORE than words can describe. “ he often didn’t understand that saying, but at this moment ai came to believe it was the best thing he could say to match his feelings.

Nagi instantly threw his arms around his boyfriend’s neck. It’s a good thing Ai is an android, otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to understand any of the rapid-fire words coming out of the little idol’s mouth. “Ai-it-was-so-terrible-and-dark-and-cold-and-I-had-to-fight-off-rats-I’m-so-brave-tell-me-I’m-brave-I-deserve-affectionnnnn!!!!!!”
“ YOU are brave. “ ai couldn’t help but laugh lightly in response to nagi’s rapid words. of course his boyfriend would do something like this. ai would be surprised if nagi didn’t do something like this. “ i missed you. “
