My friend: Wow, you know it really hit me that Anakin Skywalker's life REALLY sucked....
Me: I mean, yea he was sold into cheap child labor when he was a small kid, had to be separated from his mother when he was a small child, only having to watch her literally die in his arms years later to become consumed in a bitter rage which was used against him to manipulate him into joining the darker side of the force, causing him to essentially kill the woman he loved, destroy the only true friendship/brothership he's ever known to kill that friend/brother later on in life, and dying before ever having a chance to truly know his kids and make amends with them both.
My friend:..... meant his breathing.......
