Phew he didn’t hear me. Bass thought as he slowly and as quietly as possible tried to get a little closer. The gravel still crunched under him, making him grimace.
The SWN ended up stopping with Bubble and his amphibius companion barely in sight, with no grass or any sort of cover he wasn’t sure what to do. Should he risk getting closer? Or try to figure out a better means of going about this?
With a sharp, deep inhale, the Wilybot decided to take a chance and get closer. After all he didn’t have time to ponder things, this was like a battle and he needed to act on his first thoughts. Should’ve figured that out first. He thought as he continued to slowly army crawl towards his target.
At this rate he was sure to be heard, thus he stopped and looked to the cliffs. As quietly as he could he made his way closer to them, taking out that chalk for rock climbing and rubbing it on his fingers. Soon he began to scale the cliffside, managing to reach a ledge and slowly make his way closer.
Now he took out that paper again and would start observing, also hoping to god that Bubble or his friend didn’t hear him.
It was about that time when the Wooper noticed ‘something’ peeking out from the cliffside rocks. It’s hard to see, but it’s noticeable. “Woo!” She said. “Hm? It could be a bird,” said Bubble. A cheeky grin curled on her face. “Aww that’s kinda mean. What if that’s Stanza? She’ll give you a hug whoop if you spray her.” The cheekiness intensified. Bubble couldn’t help but to laugh together. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” he said. “You think you have enough water pressure to squirt from here?” Mumu shook her head. She glanced at the area nearer to the cliffs. “Guess that’s why you wanna try your best huh? I’ll be watching.” The unusually-energetic little one hopped on her feet and began to skip and roll across the terrain. She circled around until her target was in view and then... One spray of water and a whole lot of screaming later, Bubble escorted a drenched Bass back to Shio’s place. The ninja tried to stifle his laughter, but his awkward smile was a dead giveaway. “I... suppose we know what we should train on now,” he said. “Escape routes will definitely be part of the syllabus.” “Sorry about that, buddy,” said Bubble. “I didn’t know it’s Shadowbro’s test. But. Uh. Yeah. Now he knows how to make you a better ninja.”
