Drawing George while listening to Baby Jane because why not
And yes the only thing I draw is George lately.
My body is but a #paul mccartney temple.

Damn. I just really love the Beatles
the thing about yoko ono is that i would have loved her as an artist away from john, but i absolutely hate them together. her earlier stuff prior to meeting john was actually really interesting. i think her ‘cut piece’ is iconic, i love her connection to fluxus, i like her aesthetic and little thought pieces.
together with john though, i can’t move past their very toxic relationship and their self-centeredness. in my eyes they brought out the very worst in each other and that she is still pushing this warped star-crossed lovers narrative is pretty sick.
it’s so sad to me that she, as an interesting female artist in that time period, got so lured by this promise of more fame and money and took the bait. without john she would have probably remained an obscure artist, that maybe over time people would have taken more of an interest in, because of her being female and asian.
with john all she ever be is john’s weird wife that people will forever have mixed opinions on.
john too in my opinion produced his best solo work away from her during the lost weekend (i love walls and bridges).
they were just not good together and for eachother and somehow did the opposite of helping eachother heal.
When the Beatles said “gather ‘round all you clowns” we really said whatever you say kings
