a thought that can only belong on tumblr, the past life of all my past lives

i’m currently reading a book that’s about as 2019 as you could possibly get, and the writing feels like a fanfiction come to life in both a great way and a confusing way. is this what modern romance novels are and i’m just behind? or is this author just clearly a fanfic reader? it’s funny but good

yes in fact i did just write “choose midrashim” as my only to-do item of the day, my life is great thank you for asking

lol at this point only use this website to post vaguely coherent rants that i want to type with absolutely no expectation that anybody is going to see, much less respond and am genuinely surprised if/why people would want to engage

have yet to meet anybody who was raised both with real connection to torah and text and without serious gender baggage -- wondering if that kind of educational environment even exists? 

oh but they are in spanish so

less than 1000 words (plus a suitcase, a heck of a lot of emails, and a deep clean of my bedroom) stand between me and my last semester of college

hate that i’m having feelings about the l word but this is who i am, apparently

for whatever reason death (and specifically, the people in my life who are dead) has just come up in the past month in a way more present way than it normally does. 

realizing that 1) i have a lot more close experience with death than most 21 year olds and 2) my middle school inability to really process death has ... really come back to bite me this year
