My last Taylor Swift Concert

For 12 years I’ve dreamt of this and in 5 days I will see Taylor perform live for the first and last time.

Here’s what Taylor is to me: I loved @taylorswift from the first time I heard her voice, but it was Love Story that really cemented me as a lifelong fan.

Love Story took over local radio stations the summer my husband and I met. “I close my eyes and the flash back starts, I’m standing there…” We fell in love to Love Story. Taylor and I have grown up together, and she has been a friend to me. Her lyrics have been supportive, encouraging, and venting, just like any good friend.

  • When Speak Now was released our careers were blasting off and we were both spreading our wings and showing we could succeed on our own. In 2012 loving him was RED. 1989 was released as I was dealing with some drama from my past trying to haunt me and I was finally CLEAN. I needed all of these albums to make it through the next 3 years. A rare genetic condition caused me to develop several complications over a span of 3 years that ultimately will mean my life. First came the paralysis that took away my job as a professional dancer, and I needed to find A PLACE IN THIS WORLD. Disease ravaged my body and it was MEAN. Then came the chronic respiratory failure and now I literally can’t BREATHE without you, but I have to.

Reputation came back with my inner strenth. I found myself again when I found Reputation. I’ve driven my GETAWAY CAR from the hospital with the KING OF MY HEART and dedicate NYD to my sister because I want her to hold on to the memories.

  • The reality is: my lungs are shutting down and one of these days, I’m going to stop breathing. So, Reputation might be my last show, and I’m okay with that. I am so grateful to be part of this era and I’m so thankful that @taylorswift came back and made us more music and that she is giving us this tour. I hope that she will have support when it is time for her to give her last show. Everything we know comes to an end eventually, so let us support Taylor and love her with everything we have now and when she is ready to stop performing, love her in that too. Taylor will probably never see my letter to her, because I’m just one of the millions she has touched but I am so thankful she has been part of my life. @taylornation @swiftieshelpingswifties
