Hissing in pain, he’d allow only her to ever tend to him. Anyone else would have gotten a punch to the face, or the gut. Wherever was closer. As much as the distasteful scent bothered him, pungent and revolting, it wasn’t as bad as the burning the chemical was putting him through. Wounds were a handful to cater to, especially when you weren’t some freak with crazy regenerative abilities. He’s just a normal guy, save for that marking on his face.
