I’m Disappointed [The BioWare Forums]

I decided to make this video to talk about my feelings and thoughts about something that was really important to me.

The BioWare forums are where I truly became “a fan”. It’s where I was able to interact with other fans, share ideas, be kept informed on game development, and form a deeper love with BioWare products. I’ll put it this way: without the forums having been there, there probably wouldn’t be a BioFan today. I’m very disappointed in the decision to close down the forums. Sure there are other social media platforms for fans, but none that quite offered the same level of organized development information or longer-term common interest discussion. If fans wanted to get together to share their love/ideas/theories/etc for a character (like Cullen for example) the forums offered a great venue to discuss the character over a longer period of time. The forums served, for many, as an easy medium to navigate and learn details about upcoming games they were interested in. Other social media outlets offer this, but in a much more limited or time sensitive manner. While the developers themselves may not visit the forums often, it is a well-used venue for the BioWare community.

Well this is long overdue since I bypassed this milestone, but I was trying to figure out exactly how I wanted to do this! My 100 Inquisitor challenge was super fun and improved my skills quite a bit so I’m going to go ahead and start this again, though it will not be the free for all it was before u.u;;

I will be drawing 50 Inquisitors. That means there will be 50 winners! 

RULES

1. Must be following me! New followers are always welcome however! No giveaway blogs though. 

2. Likes/Reblogs = 1 entry each. Reblog to your heart’s content but try not to annoy your followers. 

3. This is for Inquisitors only; it’s just easier for me to draw quickly. It’s open to any and all Inquisitors though; Lavellan/Trevelyan/Cadash/Adaar of any gender! I do require at least one in game screenshot to work with please.

4. You’ll need to have your ask box open so I can let you know if you won, and if I don’t receive a response within 24 hours I’ll pick another winner. 

5. Please do not reblog with your reference. It’s makes keeping things organized a bit difficult since I’ll have a big group. I’ll give my email to the winners so you can send me your references! 

6. I’ll be picking the 50 winners randomly from a number generator. I might end up picking more than 50 depending on some factors, like the amount of free time I have? I don’t want to commit to more than 50 for now though xD 

7. I have no problems redrawing your Inquisitor if I drew them in the last round. Anyone and everyone is eligible for an Inquisitor portrait if your name is picked!

Once I complete that round of drawings, I will make a post tagging the next 10 and keep going until everyone gets their drawing. Soooo….thank you everyone!
