How's it hanging, Tumblr? Coming back now that I have some time to breathe with a pretty Tumblr-y piece; a rainbow sloth in a flower crown. ;)

Sidney the Stylish Sloth is bound for Common Threads group show at FOE Gallery in Northampton, MA, opening this weekend! Features: rainbow fur that grows away from the extremities just like on real sloths (keeps them warm while they're upside down!); soft minky face with rhinestone and sequin accents around the handpainted eyes; velour claws. Accessorized with: a flower crown of handmade chiffon, tulle and organza flowers; more realistic accessory of a sloth moth (specifically Cryptoses choloepi) made from painted dupioni silk and super classy pipe cleaners with Swarovski crystal eyes. Branch is mounted on a real wood base and has needle-felted moss. Size: about lifesize overall (depending on the size of your sloth), 15" off the wall and 16" top to bottom.

I wanted to say something about being on Team Shatner, and now seemed like the time to do it; even though I'm extremely busy and had to do it very quickly in the wee hours of the morning. Wow that photo op got a lot of notes XD; Thank you u.u Hi new followers! If we met at VanCon you should say hey. Sorry I'm a bum, my biggest con is coming up and I'm makin' stuffs. But I'm on a mission to fit in tumblin' so I don't go mad(der).

So I went to my first Supernatural con, in Vancouver. And had my first ever (and only) celeb photo op and I'd like it better if I wasn't in it but please enjoy Jared Padalecki meeting his puppet doppelganger Jared Puppalecki (technically Sam Winchester, whatever). I'm still in shock.

The first is actually the face Jared made when he saw me walk up. He said something like "omg, that's awesome :D". He posed me for the pic, because I'm "how does this even work". Then he goes, wait wait another one! And he poses me again; as in, he moved me like the human mannequin improv game. Only thing I was aware of by then was okay Jared's head is pressed up against mine okay. I didn't even know what he was doing with the puppet til I got the photo. I only paid for the one (sorry, Chris!) so I think one of these is actually Jared's. He is basically the sweetest person ever and if you hurt him, I will wake you with a puppet Winchester standing over your bed in the middle of the night. 8|

So this is the ultimate "more later" but about to reblog something because I was on Team Shatner for GISHWHES. And I made Osric Chau's costume for Comic-con, unrelatedly. But I'm at VanCon and will be roaming data most of the time. I'll do my best with that and...more later.
