It was as simple as that. If anything he’d rather her not find out at all — keep her pure mind, well, pure for as long as possible. Why that old man had decided to spout nonsense around a child was beyond him. Not that he was much different. He tended to have a slip of the tongue every now and again.
”Did you go to school today?” He hopes to change the topic, if her attention span would allow it.
Small hand reached up to tug on Obito's shirt. "O-Obi-chan what's a sugar d-daddy?"

Who had she heard that from? Whoever it was would surely hear from him later. Mismatched hues glance down to meet a pair of hopeful eyes, waiting patiently for an answer to the question she’d just presented him. Of course he had no ‘serious’ obligation to answer such a question but he did have an ‘obligation’ to — the girl knew after all he would never let her down, or at least try not to in any way.
With a very belated smile he lets out a soft sigh, lips parting to form an answer or at least stall the inevitable.

He'd seen his share of 'art' over the course of the years and if he could say one thing for sure it was nothing compared to this drawing. Gloved extremities take the parched paper and bring it closer for inspection, his head would tilt in question, trying to decipher the writing above. He has to remember that the girl is but a child, her writing skills not yet developed to perfection just yet, and to hold back his criticism.
"...number one...bab....ah...she means dad..." cute. Of course it's safe to say he will keep it close to him to admire later on.

[ Just dropped by to say sorry for the lack of inactivity here uwu To be blunt I lost my muse for quite some time now, and while muse is steadily coming back I doubt I’ll be on much. I still have a few things to deal with irl, college crap and getting ready to move this month—so I’ve been chilling on my less cluttered blog just because the lack of stress it brings. I really miss talking to all of you and hope to be back soon..ish~
I know I promised to keep a few threads on hold for certain people, for when I return-return—but any others will be deleted/dropped unless I talk to muns, upon my return that is. ]
