It’s Not Babysitting
“I don’t know about that, love. One at a time should do us alright.”
“Look at this boy! He’s so cute. Imagine what two of him could do!”
“Keep me awake all night?” Killian asked with a soft laugh.
“That’s my job,” Emma said poking him in the shoulder.
“Wishful thinking,” Killian smirked.
“Come on. Call out tonight. Just one more night with us won’t kill you. Besides the diner is fine.”
Killian sighed, but nodded. He knew that the place could manage without him for one night. He was just so terrified of everything going wrong and failing, especially after having borrowed the money. “You’re right. I’ve missed you both so much.”
“Killian.” Emma spoke. “Look at this baby. Corn here. Hold his baby in your arms.”
“Look at that face,” Killian sighed contently as he held Bowie in his arms.
