Steve Rogers deserved his happy ending.

Someone just posted an article in a Facebook group I’m in about how Steve’s ending didn’t make sense. How did it not make sense?

So, I’m calling bullshit. It makes perfect sense because throughout all of the movies movies Steve is mourning the chance he had with Peggy.

In TFA he says “I had a date” to Fury when asked if he was supposed to be somewhere.

In TWS, he and Natasha banter about setting him up with different people, but he said “it’s hard finding someone with shared life experiences.” Which, at the time I thought meant frozen for 70 years and then suddenly alive again, but now that I think further, it was about being overlooked and not being given a chance or taken seriously because you’re weak or female.

In Ultron he had the Wanda-induced vision of dancing with Peggy and he saying “the war is over, Steve. We can go home.”

In CW, Steve was gutted when Peggy died. I know y’all saw his face when carrying her coffin through the church. (Don’t get me started about the crap with Sharon, maybe he thought she could replace Peggy and was found severely lacking.)

And then in THIS movie, there were multiple nods to their relationship: the numerous times we see her picture in the compass, the mention of losing “he love of his life” at group therapy, and then actually SEEING Peggy through the window in her office.

Steven Grant Rogers sacrificed himself on numerous occasions, and I’ll be damned if I’ll sit idly by and allow someone to say it made no sense. Steve finally got his dance with his girl, and the man deserves his happy ending. He deserved the ending he got, and his is a mountain I will die on.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk…

I’m shook, I spent the whole first esc semifinal thinking “damn that one host looks EXACTLY like that lady from NCIS: Los Angeles” until I found out IT IS ACTUALLY HER

Got inspired by the Greek Gods family tree that’s been circulating around lately. I realize a few gods are missing, but there’s just so MANY.

The thing about Jotuns is that even though they have males and females, their idea of what makes someone one or the other seems to be different from ours. Male Jotuns give birth several times in the stories, so I like to think female Jotuns are somehow able to impregnate others too. My personal headcanon is Skadi as Ull’s other parent just because they have so many things in common.
