“news of the world – the name alludes to the newspaper – is the sixth studio album by the british rock band queen, released on 28 october 1977 by emi records in the united kingdom and by elektra records in the united states. On the 2nd July 1971 Queen played at Surrey College. This was the first time they played with the line-up that we now know as Queen, with Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon.
