that “!” look means gold / silver fortune cookie guarantee!

i only allocate about 500 leaf tickets a month for fortune cookies, 350 for event craftables. so I’m not really “whaling” i love the game even though its just a glorified dressing / interior designing game. I really hope what I spend here will go somewhere towards animal crossing switch funds lmao.

not an aion blog anymore

anyone who was previously following me (I used to be called yukitank and played a templar called yukily)

I am no longer playing aion (for about a year now) so I will no longer post aion content unless it’s related to my friends that still play.

content that I might start to post would be related to

  • GW2
  • Stardew Valley
  • Animal Crossing

literally any other game I get my hands on that I like.

of course, I probably won’t be actively posting all of them as I only play games once in a while now due to a tight work schedule. (well not really, I just happen to not have a gaming laptop to bring for work lol)

so uhhh I wouldn’t feel salty if you start unfollowing me hahaha so no worries :D

Can I bug you with some questions? I've gotten my baby cleric to lvl 68 and my HP gear is fine but I don't know what to use for dps. Is AT chain better or do they give the same magic boost? Is a staff better for dps, are there qualities you look for in a staff? (Like songweavers want attack speed on harps) Also, there are a bunch of accessories and I don't know what's for cleric. Sorry for knowing nothing, you don't have to answer XD

Hello! Of course you can, not that I’m the best one to ask questions about dps though. :DI’m not really much of a dps cleric so I’m not very up to date about the armours that exist and are easy accessible for new characters, but I think any armour with magic boost on it should work. Even AT ones, because you gotta start somewhere right? As for the staff, I’m pretty sure there is no staff with casting speed, only attack speed so that’s something. As far as I know there aren’t many staves with magic boost on them either (hyperion, BM mythical, probably makarna, lvl 75 ap and such), so for my alts I usually just buy whatever cheap staff there is on broker and put MB stones in it.Probably the easiest accessories to get nowadays are the ones from Runatorium/Idgel dome, I forgot the name but they are mythical lvl 70, good for whatever you wanna do I’d say. There are only 2 types as well, either physical or magical so you won’t have trouble finding the right ones. This is my lvl 1 knowledge, from a scrubby non-dsp cleric! I’d say if you have more detailed questions you could ask someone like @benrith her life is dpsing as a cleric.~ ♥  ~

Practically in most cases the chains have equal mboost and even cloth has equal i believe. Going AT would be worst option.

As starter I would say cloth rune tribe is nice due the amount of mana so u can zone out and have no worries at all. if u got some mb/hp lying around it’s cool too, or knowledge 6′s

I’m PvP based player so I was planning to go for ap 75 merge but i’ve noticed allot of staffs have high base mboost despite being chanter’s so in either case u will most likely be off just fine in case you can’t afford such.

runat/ID 70 are great option as u can + them without worrying about anything breaking, if u have conditioning lying around you’ll be just fine to use em for pve as well but there’s also the accs with the bonus effects from the library of knowledge / maze that work just fine.

further, if u got money lying around you can try to + some stigmas like chain of suffering P:

getting high amount of crit spell appears to be slightly challenging as opposed to bard/sm/sorc though.

as an ex-cleric and current AT, i say that if you EVER use AT chain, do so ONLY with a staff, because AT chain has parry instead of block. you block with shields, you parry with 2-handed weapons. thats it. to a cleric it’d be only useful as dps kiting set against physicals, but even then, a shield would be more effective, because blocking negates all CC and a huge % of damage.

pve dps set maybe? not unless you wanna be your group’s tank, since AT chain has positive enmity. but you know… if you ever feel like your tank sucks, it’d be the pettiest thing you could do to him. no taunts will outaggro your monster damage.

blocking does not negate cc .-.

it mitigates physical damage, nothing else.

having a shield and socketing it with MR and you negating CC because of it is mainly because of the MR attribute and NOT the block attribute.

i beg your pardon

it means that the block attribute wont stop you from getting silenced, paralyzed, rooted, stunned, and knockbacks etc.

the only thing block does is lessen physical damage dealt on you.

was my sentence construction confusing, sorry about that.

edit: reposted bc i posted on the wrong account lol
