Ok… This is what happened to Fraser

-His wife ditched him and asked for 900k a year,

-He was sexually assaulted which he said kicked him into a deep depression

-He stated that the stunts from the 3rd Mummy movie completely destroyed his body and he was in and out of the hospital for 7 years even having to get surgery to repair his vocal cords.

-He apparently blamed himself for all this which only worsened his depression.

This man has literally been through hell this past decade so please lets cut him some slack and wish him the best

All this but also that picture on the right is a really bad paparazzi photo compared with a professional quality movie promo still. No one looks good when some random person snaps you on the street, regardless of who you are.

One name tells of the thousand years indigenous history and culture of the tribes who live there. The other name tells me nothing but colonialism.

It'll be a bit before I find time to research the Colorado ones, but I'll be sure to tag you!

Last time I attempted to do this research, I discovered that since Colorado was largely occupied by nomadic groups, a lot of the mountains had more than one name.

But, as a cool starting point, I did find this article about geotagging places with indigenous names.

a thing that will forever amuse me is the movie fandom's depiction of the relationship between gandalf and pippin. like "haha old man is annoyed by younger man" is funny on its own but what most of them don't know is:

gandalf is an entity, an angelic being taking up human form who is older than time itself. pippin 'i exist to spite god' took is like 17. this is a teenager constantly fucking up an ancient being.

pippin is the biggest minor inconvenience in gandalf's life.

And yet here she is the one with more experience and yet with a drastically lower cut. This is both racial and gender discrimination and there is absolutely and utterly no excuse
