ooc: Hey, it's been a while...
[Wow…it’s been about six or so months since I’ve been on this blog.
I have a few asks asking if I abandoned this blog.
I didn’t abandon it, per say…but I didn’t have time to be on it, between graduating from college and moving here to Missouri to live with my fiancee, and then I just…ran out of things to do. I didn’t really have anyone to interact with and I didn’t receive asks or anything anymore.
I wasn’t sure if anyone was really enjoying this blog anymore anyway.
I miss it, though.
I miss it a hell of a lot.
And I want to get back into it.
I still have all of my cosplay stuff for John sitting in the bottom drawer of my dresser. Everything came with me all the way from NJ.
I now live in an apartment with my fiancee, so it’s not like I’m bound to one place and only able to cosplay every once in the while. If I’m not working (I work at a performance theatre), then usually I have free time.
A problem I think I had with this blog is that I don’t have people I can cosplay with…no one nearby, anyway. I used to cosplay in person with Kun (which I still, to this day, am thankful for, because Kun is amazing), but when I went to cosplay with them, I had to drive nearly two hours one way to get to them.
Now I live in Springfield, Missouri…and I’m not sure if there are any cosplayers nearby who cosplay Sherlock or anyone else I could interact with (I know there are some people who live in St. Louis, but that’s 4 hours away from here). That makes things a little more difficult.
If I still have any cosplay followers…do you guys have any advice? I really want to get this blog up and running again, but I’m not sure how…I don’t know where to start, I don’t know how to find if anyone lives nearby or anything like that.
I’m just…really rusty, I guess.
I’ve missed a lot.
I’ve missed this a lot.
And I’ve missed my followers a lot.
