HIND’S HALL IS NOW ON STREAMING SERVICES.

Let’s get Hind’s Hall to Number 1. Macklemore has stated that ALL proceeds from streaming will be going to UNRWA to help displaced Palestinian families. So, if you’re struggling financially, this is a brilliant way to raise funds that will help affected families get the help that they need, whilst simultaneously spreading a very important message.

You can find the track here:

It’ll essentially mean we’re getting streaming services to pay up, as typically they pay artists around $0.003 per stream— so, for example, if Hind’s Hall reaches 10,000,000 (ten million) on Spotify alone, that’s $30,000 for UNRWA. Life changing numbers.

The best way to amplify streaming is by adding it to your playlists, or making a playlist with duplicate additions of the song (with other tracks inbetween.) Again, thank you to Macklemore for doing this and using your platform.

Please let us know of any other artists doing the same! Let’s utilise what we can to get funds to Palestinians.

We actually don't have to keep explaining ourselves and justifying ourselves to non-Black people. If they don't want to listen to our music and engage with us as human beings, they can just sit by themselves.

If you say you don’t like rap I’m just unironically gonna assume you’re racist. Because half of the reasons y’all give when someone asks you to explain yourselves boil down to “Black people only sing about sex, violence, and drugs. Unlike other genres of music, which are all clean as gospel music and contain zero vulgarity 😌✨”

Y’all see sex and violence as inherent parts of Black culture, that’s why you don’t like rap. It’s not that you simply don’t enjoy it, or it’s not your cup of tea. You just see any and everything made by Black people as inherently violent and ghetto.

Another thing! Often times you won’t see this kind of rhetoric surrounding white rappers such as Eminem, or Macklemore now that he’s getting more traction. It’s almost ALWAYS Black rappers who’re listed as violent, misogynistic drug dealers. Despite the fact I’d argue writers like Eminem are more likely to rap about things like violence against women (you remember his song about his ex wife Kim?), drugs, or gangs, he’s widely loved and revered as one of the greatest rappers of all time.

But if he was a Black man? Different story.
